Attention Parents of Children Receiving Sacraments this Year: Family Faith Formation is Here!
On Monday 9/24 or Tuesday 9/25, parents/guardians of children receiving sacraments should gather in the Large Hall at 6:45PM for our first meeting. If your child at-tends PREP, don’t bring him or her to the classroom. Instead, we will begin with prayer as a family. While it is required that at least one parent/guardian attend, we invite parents, guardians and confirmation sponsors to attend this vital part of your family’s sacramental prepa-ration. The meeting will conclude before the PREP ses-sion ends at 8PM.

There are 46 books in the Catholic Old Testament, but the Protestant Old Testament only has 39. Both versions of the Bible have 27 in their New Tes-tament section.

Blessing of the animals Saturday, October 6th
@ 10:00 AM Rectory parking lot.
Why do we bless our pets?
Saint Francis of Assisi’s feast day is October 4th.
St Francis is always associated with the love of animals. St. Francis even wrote an ode to God’s living things. “All praise to you, Oh Lord, for all these brother and sister creatures”
Saint Francis had a special connection with God and his living creatures. Like St Francis, we have a special rela-tionship with God and our pets, with both we find the unconditional love that every person longs for.
