Africa as a continent has a great and mysterious past shrouded in various events of humanhistory and civilization. Historians, archaeologists, social scientists and religious scholars intheir varied studies have attempted to distort Africa's true status, significance and timelessrelevance to the history and the origins of man. Africa' past shrouded in myths, mysteries, religion and archaeological discoveries. So also are the many myths about the creation of manand civilization. In many of those narrations, issues of paternal or maternal leadership are

portrayed in the different narrations but with similar thrust.

What is evident though reflects the absolute Imperial Matriarchal ruling characteristics ofsuccession or Queendom rulership of THEIR Royal Kingdoms under the Ruling ImperialQueendom Monarchy, Throne of Thrones Imperial Matriarch Goddess, Mami lines. African RoyalKingdoms have both systems of succession and several systems of contrived succession. Ofmuch concern however is the deliberate attempt to wish away the descendants of Nimrod andthe Kush and to negate and totally ignore the Nubian and Egyptian civilizations of Africa. Muchof these distortions however fail rather sadly because the historic revelations of numerouscivilizations and relics found at various sites in Africa only reinforce their own undeniabletruths. African Kingdoms predate all known Kingdoms civilizations globally. Ancient African

architecture and environmental landscaping only reveal further the deep rooted symbolism andphilosophy of a concept of the Supreme Being, a phenomenon of knowledge of God with his

varied attributes. They also vividly illustrate a social order of governance and ruler shipfounded on an intricate structure of society.

Many ancient scrolls with secret codes narrate histories of Africa. In spite of these, African oraltraditions have maintained philosophically different facets of African mythology and captureconcepts of the Supreme Being in different forms, symbols and imagery. African descendantKingdoms and Nations ceremonies and rituals reinforce many of the sacred rites depicted inhieroglyphics and pyramids.

The West Sudannic West African Nations grand ancestry, the direct descendents of the MandeNations covers most of West and Central Africa, Akan and Mandinka, Mandingo, Mende andseveral ancient lines of the Tribal lines of West Africa.

They covered as well the regions of the present day Americas, and is made up of the totality ofthe modern day Map Region of the present day referred to regions of the third World Nations. They also include those Nations within the region of the surrounding third world countries now

formally classified as non-third world nations such as; Argentina, South-Africa, China and thegreater part of the Middle-East whose earliest of Thrones that of Babylon and Sumer foundingFather was Nimrod. It is significant to recall here that Nimrod was the Empire Patriarchalforefather of the Empire Throne Matriarchal Lines and First born Son of Kush Pharaoh of Nubiathe mutual root bloodlines direct ancestral forefather.

Those Nubian ancestors of the descendent Ewe, Ga, Ga Dangbe, Luwa, Ife, Nok, Yoruba,Wolof, Hausa, Akan, Mande, Serer, Bambara Watutsi, and so forth over 600 Tribal descendentsof the Nubian Nation Tribes migrated from Upper Nubia into the West Sudanic KingdomsNations forming West, Central and Southern Africa. Thereafter there were further migrationsby the Coastal East African Yi Tribes by Sea into Asia and West African Tribal lines by Sea tothe West into the Americas, known through Tribal folklore as parts of the Empire that brokeaway and drifted further and further West with time. These early migrating Coastal Tribes tothe West primarily the Mande moved into the present day referred to Americas forming theOlmec Nations (Incas, Mayas, Arawarks, Caribs, and so forth), and includes the early migratedTribes into the North America and the Americas Upper Region of Mexico whose ancestors werethe Mande formed Olmecs Nations and tribes.

The migrating ancestors and descendents of the Nubian-Kushites formed East-African tribalNations covering Ethiopia, Somalia, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Central Africa and so forth intoSouthern africa, and West Africa lines that earlier travelled and settled lines, expanded its linescovering West Africa.

The migrating ancestors and descendents of the Nubian-Kushite that however remained in

North African region formed most of the Upper North-Africa in particular tribal Nations withinSudan, Ethiopia, Chad, Somalia, and Southern regions of; Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Mauritaniaand Libya. The Northern African Tribes and those of the Mesopotamia Regions and Asia thatmigrated upwards further into the North through Mesopotamia before the first Ice Age and inthe interval prior to the second migrating tribes were trapped for approximately 200 yearsduring the Ice Age in the European Caucus Region. The descendents of the Magyar Nationsform the Nations of Asia, Upper North-Asian Continent into Hungary, Siberia and the North-American Continent Indians, the Magyar Nation formed the Ma-gog Nations who fore-fatheredthe Nations of the Greater European Continents. These Nations that went up North primarilyover land born of the African Nubian-Asian descendent Bloodlines formed the Native AmericanNations.

In the pre-modern Era, by the Exodus from Europe by some of the European Cauc-Asiansdescendents in the periods of European Religious Persecutions, and that of the feudal rule, there was a further migration to the North-American Continent.

This through the Exodus of Europeans by Sea to North-America by the forefathers of the EllisIsland arrived ancestors of present day Caucasian Nations lines of the North-AmericanContinent.

not Caucasian. The lighter skin descendents of the Nubian Asian Nations returned centurieslater after the Ice Age and were referred to as Cauc-Asians after their Caucus Region of birth.

The Arabs later called the Empire Nations Sudan meaning Black (Nation), whilst the earlierNations People referred to themselves as Ta-Netjer meaning of the People of Lands of theGods. Netjer is in reference to the correct ancient traditional name of Noah which was Bau-Netjer meaning Father of the Gods/Goddess. The Gods/Goddess was in reference to the

Empire Imperial of the Thrones, whom in speaking was referred to as My Lord as still todaythroughout the Kingdoms of Africa in reference to the Kings and Goddess or Ma in reference tothe Queens.

The present day Nation of Ethiopia is not the reference Ethiopia or Athiopia of Ancient history. The ancient name of Ethiopia was that of Abassia then later Abyssinia as given by the Romans.Prior to this the present day Ethiopia in accordance to ancient Kingdom History was theKingdom of Put of the Empire of Kush of Nubia.

The Throne of Sheba as such comprises of the five inherited Thrones. All of the Great Pharaohsthereafter in order to sit on the Throne of King of Kings had to marry a Queen of the directRoyal lines of the Matriarch, that is, their direct lines, sisters or cousins in order to gain the

rights of Power to the Throne as King.

Thus the African ancient Kingdom saying; the King is the sign but the Queen is the Symbol.Royal Kingship is passed only through the Female Royal lines of the Matriarch lineage. Thesedescendents Queens were as such referred to as the Goddess Wives of the Gods (Kings).

The Empire Kingdoms born of these five Thrones Empire Nations as such as a collective unit isreferred to as the Empire of Kingdom of Sheba, still today which covers all of the AfricanContinent.

the most favoured Central Administrative seat which housed during its days of glory the main70 plus Family Imperial line Kings and Queens of the Kingdoms of the Empire under thePharaohs and Imperial Queen Pharaohs of the hundreds of Kingdoms throughout the GreatestEmpire in known History. In the mid-600 BC Egypt was separated from the Family Thronesafter an internal power struggle and a consequent battle.

The separation was done by the Pharaoh of the Nubia-Libya against the introduction of whatwas deemed as unacceptable practises in the sacred Temples. All reflections or mention ofEgypt was removed from the Formal name titles and Throne titles since that period.Unfortunately in later history, this development gave the impression and assumption of norelation between both Thrones and Nubia being ruled by Egypt for a specific period only.

The critical family Throne link of Nubia, Libya, Egypt and Mesopotamia, by Family bloodlinesand traditional inter-marriages within the bloodlines thrones was "lost" in the post modernWest historical records.

This separation within the Family Throne lines gave birth to the thereafter centuries ofanimosity in that historical period and reflected within historical records, which in great part isinaccurate and does not give a just reflection of the history behind and within the ThroneFamilies of that Era, or African and World Kingdom Heritage.

The ancient Sheba Region itself was partially destroyed with the building of the Aswan-dam. Inits earlier history the Kingdoms Nations Nubian lines Capitals moved at times to Meroe, andNapata in accordance to the ruling political climate.

This was repeated Centuries later now by many of the Tribes from Upper Nubia (North-Sudan)Sheba and Nubian regions in another great Exodus during the Arab Colonisation of North Africaand the thereafter 1000 years approximately later European Colonial Era of Africa.

Again in the 19th Century, with the building of the Aswan-dam forming and expanding theAswan Community during the late-Colonial Era and Post-Colonial Era, several displacementsoccurred into Egypt and the New Nubia in Egypt, the Central and South of Nubia Sudan andinto inner Africa regions.

Through the ages they established various kingdoms from the Mesopotamia toEthiopia, Kush, Egypt, Nubia and on to the formation of the Akana (Ghana) Empire in WestAfrica.

Through royal marriages established by King Solomon/Amenhotep III, princes born to Solomonfrom the various Imperial and Royal Houses, founded great kingdoms along the Nile valley forcenturies around Egypt, Nubia and Ethiopia before moving on to ancient Ghana, present dayMali, by the first century AD.

Our Ancestors, descendants of the PATRIACH AKAN, have, after the fall of King Solomon fromhis Monotheistic Religion due to his many wives, developed a Polytheistic religious base withtheir Atannos and build the viable clan kingdoms that culminated into the Akana (Ghana)Empire that flourished in that area from 300 AD to 1100 AD. The Empire was ruled by theeight principal patriarchs of the Akan royal Family namely, Ekuona, Adako and Oyoko, Aduana,Asona, Bretuo, Asona, Asene, Agona and Asakyiri.

Having fallen short of the glory of God whom they worshiped through their ATANO'S (lessergods) in shrines, established by King Solomon for his various wives, Ancestress of ourforebears, the Akans tenaciously held on to their form of worship.

The invasion of the Amoravid, brought the Islamic religion. The Akans rejected Islam becauseof their own believes in the One God, Oboadae Onyankonpon Kwame - God the Creator.

The history of the Akans Empire in Ghana/Kassena-Ancient Ghana:

The formation of the old Akana (Ghana) Empire in about 300 AD until 1100 AD has been welldocumented. The fact that the Akans migrated to the southern sector of West Africa tomaintain their religious freedom is an important point that should not be overlooked. God theCreator of the Universe has always played a leading role in the spiritual and socio-economicdevelopment of the Akans. Miraculous interventions in the socio-political development of theAkans pointed to the spiritual encounters they were to have with God.

God Almighty, the anointed One, has always been there to rescue the people from the shackles

of sin and shame. As they progressed in the formation of nation states, the various clans builtformidable kingdoms throughout West Africa.

The Muslims, led by the Amoravid, invaded the land with the intention to impose the Islamicworship of Allah on our ancestors. The Akans defended their long held faith in the AncestralGod, the Creator of the Universe, Odomankoma Twereaduapon Onyankopon Kwame andfought the Islamists. They first moved to an area now occupied by the Nauris, and then toBono Manso along the fringes of the river Tano and there founded the first Akan Kingdom by1100 A.D., the Abono Kingdom.

By the time, our ancestors moved to form the Abono Kingdom, the various clans had increasedin number and inter-clan rivalry was the order of the day. With this, the clans started seeking

power and protection from various shrines. They had forsaken their One and Only God:Oboadae Onyankopon Kwame and had resorted to Idol/demon worshipping.

The Chief Priestess of the Tano River Deity, Asuo Tano, was the powerful territorial spirit of thearea and claimed to be the God of the Akans and founded a City of Refuge and a ReligiousWorship Capital for the Tano deity called Tanoso.

Very soon it became the Spiritual Capital of all the Akan Clans. With her spiritual power andinfluence over the clans, the High Priestess mobilized all the Akan Idol/Demons to congregateat Tanoso as their worship- and festival center. A decree was established that no fetish priest

or priestess could practice as a Fetish priest or priestess without going through a rigorousreligious test by the demon gods at Tanoso. This was the order of the time and as such theTano and the Abosom, as they were called, came to play an important role in the life andgovernance of the Akans.

The formation of the Akans political and governmental system was determined by the

    High Priestess, Nana Amprofi II.

With the increase in worship and festivals in honor of the Tano Deities, all the Akan clan-chiefswere vying for position of power and control. Instead of worship and productive activities, theclan-chiefs were given to infighting and litigations. Therefore, the High Priestess, afterconsultation with the Deities', the Matriarchal Heads and Clan Elders selected her son Kwarten

to head their Clan as the Supreme Chief, to take care of the administration and needs of thepeople and she advised all the Matriarchs of each clan to do likewise.

After the Matriarchs had installed their sons as Chiefs, the High Priestess invited all the AkanClan-Chiefs and informed them, that since they are of one ancestry and common lineage, theyhave to adopt a system of Governance and worship that will ensure ethnic continuity andsolidarity among the clans.

The High Priestess succeeded in uniting the clans through the deities. The degree with whichthe Priests and the Priestesses exercised spiritual and socioeconomic control in association withthe chiefs, ushered in a period of peace and growth within the Akan community for severalcenturies. The Sacred Dominion of AMPROFI TANOSO near Techiman became the Center ofAkan Religion and Worship.

The High Priestess, in order to completely control the souls and lives of the people at all times, invoked the deity Tano and distributed thrones controlled by the various Tano deities to allclans and asked them to build their kingdoms around each Tano deity, to seek to live togetheras Akans. This started the transmigration of the various Akan clans across the territory, whichtoday is classified as Akan land in West Africa and the formation of various Chiefdoms andKingdoms with the Tano deities controlling the thrones or stools and the very lives of thepeople.

As the years went by, our ancestors, in their quest for nation building and supremacy, startedtheir inter-clan wars which forced the migration of the various Akan clans to different parts ofWest Africa from the 1100th to 1500th.. The Akans began to spread across the region from theeast of the river Comoe, to the west of the river Afram (Volta). By the 15th century, theDenkyiras emerged as the dominant Akan Group and formed a powerful Kingdom thatcontrolled the political and economic life of the Akans until the Asantes, under King Osei Tutudefeated it and reduced the Denkyira kingdom into a vassal state by 1680.

When the Asante Union was established, it was meant to replace the tyrannical monarchicaldictatorship, headed by Nana Ntim Gyakari of the Denkyiras. The Union was created originallyto be for all Akans, irrespective of location. Hence, the High Priest Okomfo Anokye hails fromAkuapem. The oracles and the holy water used for the invocation by the high Priest, the verysource of the unifying force, the Golden Stool itself, originates from the Atanno deities thatguard the Akan Clans.

Hence, the Asantes are the custodians of the spiritual and unifying force of all the Akans. Theywere not to underestimate their role and responsibility towards the wellbeing of all Akans aswell as all Africans. The Denkyiras ruled the Akans for a long time. During the reign of NanaBoa Amponsem, peace and harmony reigned among the Akans until Nana Ntim Gyakariascended to the throne and ruled in a brutal and dictatorial manner. This led to a rebellion bythe other Clans and brought about the formation of the Asante Union of which Nana Osei TutuI was enthroned as the leader.

The Asantes went to war against Nana Ntim Gyakari. He was defeated and beheaded. Some ofhis partisans escaped to the forest belt of the west and settled there. The Akan Kingdom washenceforth ruled by King Osei Tutu I and the Asantes. Unable to keep the Akan Union intactafter the defeat of the Denkyiras, several Akan groups sought to break away from the Asantes. It culminated in the conflict between the Akims and the Asantes, which brought about thedeath of Nana Osei Tutu I on the river Pra. This, coupled with succession problems at home, brought about the internal family feud over the selection of the successor to King Osei Tutu I.

Breaking of Royal Lineage and ties-OYOKO AND ADAKO

Whereas the Adako are uncles to the Oyoko Clan, they felt that with the death of Nana Osei

Tutu I, an uncle should be selected to lead the nation in the absence of a nephew. Opoku WareI was a grandnephew and therefore elected. This brought about a succession feud resulting ina three years civil war that saw Nana Dako beheaded by the partisans of Opoku Ware I andbrought about a split in the family that has not been resolved until today.

The death of King Osei Tutu I and the tumult that brought about the split of the Oyoko-

    Dako Clan.

Nana Osei Tutu I reigned from 1680 to 1717. He was killed during the civil war between theAsantes and the Akims whilst crossing the river Pra. He had gone to war with his grandnephewOpoku Ware and after his death, Opoku Ware searched desperately for the body of his

granduncle but unfortunately could not recover the body from the river Pra. When he finallyreturned home, some of the kingmakers from the ADAKO Imperial HOUSE had proposed hisgreat-granduncle Nana Dako as the next reigning monarch. This infuriated Opoku Ware, chosen by the Fetish Priest Okomfo Anokye as successor of his grand-uncle Osei Tutu I. Hewas determined to fulfill his prophetic destiny. In the scuffles that ensued, the Oyoko partisansof Opoku Ware assassinated Nana Dako.

The death of (King) Nana Dako

The assassination of Nana Dako brought about the greatest and perhaps longest schism thatever erupted in Akan history. Mothers fought against sons, brothers against brothers, sistersagainst sisters. Families, clans and the entire Akan Nation was divided, never to unite again

until this day. Nana Abena Pokuaa, heir to the Throne and Leader of the Resistance movementagainst Opoku Ware I, took portions of the royal regalia and paraphernalia and half of theentire royal house to accompany her on a journey that can be labeled the trail of tears forliberty and freedom'.

The Civil war 1717-1720-between Nana Abena Pokuaa and Nana Opoku Ware I

Nana Abena Pokuaa mobilized her partisans and moved from Nsuta to Kwaman, present dayKaase, and fought her way to freedom. The entire army of Opoku Ware I followed thepartisans. Capture or arrest of a partisan of Abena Pokuaa meant summary execution. Many ofthe Adako royals were killed together with their Akuona supporters. When Nana Abena Pokuaamoved about the countryside, war and destruction was everywhere. Civil War had engulfed thenation.

From 1717 to 1720, the Asante Kingdom was in tumult, civil strife raged and the Adako-Oyokoroyal household was divided. For three years, the family was unable to select a successor tothe throne. The stool and other royal regalia's were in the hands of Nana Abena Pokuaa. Shemoved with her partisans to Tanoso, leaving the very Kingdom they had founded. At Tanoso,Nana Abena Pokuaa consulted with her Atanno and after purification and other ceremonies, they moved on to cross the Comoe River, to face yet other formidable enemies of old of KingOsei Tutu I. All the immediate royal family members, Nana Yeboaa and others went away withNana Abena Pokuaa, with the exception of Nana Nnimsemaa. She stayed behind to pray to theAlmighty God for protection for the save passage of the departing team and to consult with theAtano as tradition demanded at the time, until Nana Abena Pokuaa was safely behind theComoe. Nana Nnimsemaa, sister of Nana Yeboaa and Nana Abena Pokuaa choose to hide theirtrue identities, as they remained behind, knowing that the partisans of Opoku Ware I will killher and her entourage the moment they were identified as partisans of Abena Pokuaa. Manyhad to change their clan allegiance in order to survive Opoku Ware's wrath. Nana Nnimsemaamarried the Akyeremahene of the Tano deity and her offsprings remained at Tanoso until thisday.

    Sacrifice and Miracle at Comoe

For the members of both royal houses the death of Nana Dako and the subsequent civil warthat ensued was the most painful event in the history of the family. For Nana Opoku Ware I,the division of his family and the breakaway of a major part of the family, just at the beginningof his reign was not favourable. He would have wished that Nana Dako was alive and NanaAbena Pokuaa had not rebelled. However, as the new king he must unify his new nation andshow national solidarity and continuity.

The task of Nana Abena Pokuaa was preserving the most sacred of family dreams - heritage. She needed to save the Adako Royal Family and the only way possible, was to go away tocreate a new nation in an unknown land. The decision by Nana Pokuaa's own family to resistand bring about schism was not an easy task. The trail was full of uncertainties, tears, losses, death, depravation and sacrifices for all who embarked on that journey. Upon arrival on the

banks of the river Comoe, the river was flooded and impossible to cross.

In those days, there were no boats and even if they had the skills to make a canoe, it wouldhave taken several weeks. Knowing that the partisans of Opoku Ware I was on their trail, therewas no time to waste. The Tano deity that accompanied them, Akora, advised, that if theywant to be saved by God Almighty from the armies of Opoku Ware I and to cross the riverbefore the army arrives, they need to sacrifice a child to the Gods and the river Comoe. Whenthe Elders consulted, they were told the child to be sacrificed should be that of Nana AbenaPokuaa herself. In view of the impending danger, Nana Abena Pokuaa had no choice but tosacrifice her child to save the multitude of people who had followed her.

Ceremonies were performed, prayers said, in accordance to customs and tradition, Nana

Pokuaa offered her child to be sacrificed. After the ceremony, the waters in the river startedmoving and a herd of hippopotamus appeared in the river, lined up to form a bridge, on whichthe people crossed the river to safety and freedom. The miracle that took place that day alsogave the name to the new Kingdom that they founded afterwards. BA NO AWU (Nana banoawu, the child of Nana is dead), became Baule, the name of the new nation, founded by NanaAbena Pokuaa, present day La Cote d'Ivoire.

Immediately after the passage, the armies of Opoku Ware I arrived at the river. Some of thebrave soldiers attempted to cross, but the hippopotamus moved under the waters and all thosewho attempted to mount on the back of the hippos, drowned in the river Comoe. The placewhere the miraculous bridge of Liberty appeared is there until this day. The Akans go to thissite every year to pour libation in honor of our ancestors in remembrance of their faith in God

and their tenacity of purpose that resulted in the creation of a new nation - of Ba no awu-Baule

in vernacular or Baoule in French - means; the child is dead. As in the original dialect --- "Bano awu".

Because of the sacrificial offering of Nana Abena Pokuaa's child, a new kingdom was born. Before Nana Abena Pokuaa reached the crossing line in the river, a giant rose out of the riverComoe and handed her a golden stool, the throne on which Nana Abena Pokuaa sat to buildthe Baoule kingdom. After the passage, the Kyidom warriors of Nana Abena Pokuaa's army

decided to settle at the edge of the river and kept the golden Umbrella and the sword of NanaOsei Tutu I as a token of their sacrifice and as symbol of unity of the Akans in present La Coted'Ivoire.

Whatever the interpretation of the events by the River Comoe on that fateful day, we, theAkans in La Cote d'Ivoire, know beyond reasonable doubt that God Almighty was with ourAncestors and protected and assisted them to cross the River Comoe. Today, our latePresident and King Nana Houphouet Boigny, who was the custodian of the oracles of ourancestral stool, has paid homage to the Lord God Almighty. He has given him the glory andhonor by building the biggest Church in the world as a remembrance for the great act of love,He showed our ancestors by leading them across as He did lead the Jews. It gives all of us the

joy to rededicate our kingdom and our nation to the glory of God Almighty, The Maker OfHeaven and Earth, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, in Praise of His Holy name in worship.

Nana Abena Pokuaa departed from the shores of Comoe into the hinterland along the banks ofthe Bandama River at Warebo, where she founded Tano Sakassou as her capital city andformed the new Adako Royal Kingdom of Baoule. It ushered in new hope for her people, but itwas not until they had fought and defeated the remnants of the Denkyiras, already defeatedby King Osei Tutu, that hope turned into reality. The chiefdoms of Akyie, Abbe, the Ebrie, theMbatto and all the Akan Kingdoms and chiefdoms in La Cote d'Ivoire owe and continue to payallegiance to Obaahemaa Nana Abena Pokuaa, the Warrior-Queen mother who founded thesecond Kingdom of the Greatest King, Akans ever had, Nana Osei Tutu I. Emergence of New Akan Nations- The Ivorian Factor:

Following the tradition of our Great Warrior-Queen, the Akans have played a great role in theformation of the modern nation of La Cote d'Ivoire, which was founded on the principlesbequeathed to us by our Great Queen Nana Abena Pokuaa. All Akans are subjects of theKingdom Nana Abena Pokuaa founded and pledge allegiance to the unity and solidarity of theAkan Nation and as such to the Ivorian nation.

THE WARRIOR-QUEEN, (Queen) NANA ABENA POKUAA

Nana Abena Pokuaa, the First Queen mother of the Akan people who migrated to present dayLa Cote d'Ivoire, was a member of the Adako-Oyoko Imperial family and direct descendant ofthe great Akan kings. Nana Baffour Gyanko Fofie I, the present Supreme head of the ADAKOIMPERIAL HOUSE is a direct descendant of Nana Abena Pokuaa, who ruled 1720 to 1760.

As a result of the family civil war, Nana Abena Pokuaa, the sister of Nana Dako, was forced toflee to present day La Cote D'Ivoire and as such brought about the split of the royal family. In1720 Nana Abena Pokuaa migrated with her partisans to the new country through Tanoso, baptizing in the river Tano, paying homage and performing the customary rites to the fetishTano and Atekusuaa. At Tanoso, a member of the royal household, sister of Nana Pokuaa andfetish priestess of Taa Pem decided to stay with Tano to guard the rear, while the othermembers of the family moved on with Nana Pokuaa. Hence, the great grandmother of Nana

Gyanko Fofie remained at Tanoso, while the rest of the family moved on to the new country.

Arriving by the river Comoe, Nana Pokuaa sacrificed her young child to the river god in orderto cross the river.

Having succeeded in crossing, they came to the region of today's Bouake, where she and herfollowers fought the Senoufou in the north, the Guru in the west, who had arrived shortlybefore her and the Denkyiras, who were defeated by her uncle Osei Tutu earlier on. By 1730,Nana Abena Pokuaa had subdued all her enemies and had established a powerful Empire calledBaoule in memory of the sacrificed child. She became the first Queen Mother of the kingdom.

She reigned for 30 years and built a very strong kingdom with the capital at Warebo,Sakassou, based on the constitutional monarchy introduced by her uncle Osei Tutu until 1760.

The House of 'Ra - (over 10,000 years old) is the Imperial Throne House of the hundreds ofRoyal Houses of the Thrones of the Nubia/Kush Nubian/Sheba Imperial Empire Kingdoms anddescendent Nations Kingdoms Lines in Africa. The House of 'Ra Nubia/Sheba Imperial Kingdomthe Throne under its present Imperial lines ruler the Imperial Matriarch H.I.M Empress Shebah'Ra - Queen Shebah III - Queen of the Sheba Kingdom Empire Nations of Nubia-Kush, is theoldest Empire Kingdom in Africa, and the world as a whole. Out of this Imperial Royal linecame the Akans who founded the old Akana Empire that ruled for over thousand years theconfluence of the Niger and the vast regions of Western Africa.

After the Jews defeated the Edomites, the Akans moved and established alliance with theIsraelites up to the time of King Solomon. The Akans have always been the ruling class.Through the ages they established various kingdoms from the Mesopotamia to Ethiopia, Kush,Egypt, Nubia and on to the formation of the Akana (Ghana) Empire in West Africa.

Through royal marriages established by King Solomon, princes born to Solomon from thevarious royal houses, founded great kingdoms along the Nile valley for centuries around Egypt,Nubia and Ethiopia before moving on to ancient Ghana, present day Mali, by the first centuryAD.

Our Ancestors, descendants of the PATRIARCH AKAN, have, after the fall of King Solomon fromhis Monothiestic Religion due to his many wives, developed a Polythiestic religious base withtheir Atannos and build the viable clan kingdoms that culminated into the Akana (Ghana)Empire that flourished in that area from 300 AD to 1100 AD.

The Empire was ruled by the eight principal patriarchs of the Akan royal Family namely,Ekuona, Adako and Oyoko, Aduana, Asona, Bretuo, Asona, Asene/(Aser/Asere Ancient UpperNubia forms), Agona and Asakyiri.

The invasion and the forced imposition of Islam, made our ancestors resist the newcomers andafter heavy warfare, they moved from their Capital Sikassou in present day Mali to Gonja inpresent day northern Ghana, on to the banks of the river Tano, founding Tanoso, Abono Mansoand Takyiman. The Royal Households of each clan were assigned a royal stool which was theaccompanied by a Tano-shrine, to provide spiritual guidance and the power to establishKingdoms.
