Queen Mary’s Place is emerging as a truly remarkable new urban regeneration project. An exceptional collection of luxury one, two and three bedroom apartments and two, three, four and five bedroom houses, these superb homes from award-winning developer St James, are arranged within a classic street layout, overlooking elegant squares and beautifully landscaped courtyards to create a unique environment.

Set within the grounds of the historic Grade I listed Roehampton House, with its 20th century additions designed by renowned architect Sir Edwin Lutyens, residents have exclusive access to the lovingly-restored formal Rose Garden and serene 19th century Sunken Garden.

The exquisite setting is not the only advantage to living at Queen Mary’s Place: an estate management service ensures the gardens and streetscapes are meticulously cared for, while CCTV offers security and peace of mind. Residents can also enjoy the use of a well-equipped gym and private commuter service, operating to and from Putney mainline station and East Putney tube station, while the excellent location places the vast open spaces of Richmond Park within easy reach.

This design-conscious and creative development epitomises St James’ approach. Part of a ten year, £250 million regeneration project in conjunction with Wandsworth Council which will ultimately deliver 584 homes as well as a new pub/restaurant in partnership with Young’s across five sites in the suburb of Roehampton. Queen Mary’s Place is an exemplary holistic and lifestyle-based community, offering not only premium homes but also access to essential amenities and to central London.

The quality of the finishes found in the interiors and the exteriors of Queen Mary’s Place match the architectural integrity of the development with a sensitive use of both modern and natural materials.

The homes have been designed to create a sense of space

and light with contemporary layouts which are perfect for

modern living. The generous proportions make entertaining

or relaxing a pleasure and the extensive provision of balconies

and bi-folding doors inspires alfresco living by bringing the

outside in.

The kitchens are fully fitted using contemporary Alno furniture

and high specification appliances and are designed to be as

practical for entertaining as they are for haute cuisine. Every

bathroom and each ensuite, is equally highly specified to

make them havens of calm and places of quiet indulgence.

Modern technology has also been cleverly incorporated within

the fabric of the buildings for a seamless hi-tech experience.

There are audio/visual and data distribution systems, wiring

for Sky+ and concealed ceiling speakers in many homes.

This is designed for modern life, but with the values and

traditional standards that exceptional homes demand.
