Variable OpticsVariableOpticsisaquick,easyandaffordablewaytotunethelightingtothetaskbyprovidingaddi-tionalupordownlightinkeyareasbyusingfield-adjustabletransflectors.
Note- The VO-U (Up light) option not only increases the percentage of up light, it also increases luminaire efficiency in models that utilize T5 HO lamps. This is due to the opal transflector that sits directly under the lamps. By reducing airflow around the lamps, they operate closer to the optimal 35° C which allows them to have their maximum lumen output.
This is in contrast to the Peerless T5 HO D/I VisorOptic™ which allows convected air cur-rents drawn through the louver cavity to actually cool the lamps, reducing their efficacy.
