Welcome to the QS World University Tour

The world knows Oxford and Cambridge, Harvard and Yale but students and their parents often have trouble identifying the wider range of top universities in the world. As such, QS has launched the QS World University Tour.

The QS World University Tour is a series of prestigious half-day undergraduate education fairs held around the world that bring together potential undergraduate students and the world’s top universities. The QS World University Tour in London provides students and their parents the opportunity to talk face to face with representatives from some of the top-performing institutions in the world to find out which university best suits their tertiary education demands.

QS World University Rankings®

All of the universities participating in the QS World University Tour are ranked and recognised as one of the top 500 institutions in which to study according to the QS World University Rankings®.

These rankings are an accessible tool to:• Help prospective international students

shortlist potential destination universities• Provide a counterpoint to evaluations

of international universities• Provide a rudimentary map of the international

higher education landscape, which can and has been used as a component in both institutional and governmental strategic decision making

On the day

The QS World University Tour is a series of one-day education fairs held in key Indian, Asian and European cities. Run as a tabletop event, this format provides students interested in pursuing undergraduate education, either at home or abroad, the opportunity to interact with as many institutions as possible, and so far has proven to be an effective method of recruitment and a crucial stage in the selection of a university or programme.

Seminar programme

An extensive seminar programme also informs students, parents and teachers on a range of important topics relevant to domestic and international undergraduate education choices, such as:

• Selecting an institution• Study abroad options• How to shine in the application

and interview process• Advice on scholarships and funding• The value of the QS World University Rankings®

Students must register at:

Parents, guardians and relatives are more than welcome to attend the fair with students. Only students must complete the registration process, there is no need for those accompanying students to register their details.

We recognise that social media networks such as facebook are often the best way of engaging with students and to keep them up-to-date with the latest news and event features. We encourage all students to join our facebook event page as an open forum to get the latest news about the fair, ask us questions and exchange ideas with other students on higher education.
