This is the Link that will take you to the Quality Site. You can add this to your tool bar by going to the Quality site and adding it to your Favorite’s
Tool Bar.

Once you get to the Quality site
you want to select on
Calibration Record List

Click on New Item as shown above

The Calibration Record opens up

• Type in your New Serial number of the measuring device
• Under Calibrated By there will be a drop down showing all the vendors who calibrate devices for NOV Devin.

• Here is that drop down
• More can be added as they become approved on the Approved Supplier’s List (ASL) should more be needed or requested from by vendors.

Notice under Calibration Date there is a calendar on the end. When you click on this icon you get the Calendar drop down where you can click you date, or you can simply type it in.

The next line to be populated is the Due Date. This is the only one where you must type in the date. There is no calendar to drop down.

Under Description this is simply a free hand typing describing the piece of equipment such as brand name, manufacturer and any other attributes.

Under Equipment this is where you select what the device is such as torque wrench, caliper, gauge, etc.
The selections are part of the drop down box. Here you see what is listed in the drop down box.

Here you’re being asked if the device is in service or out of service. Simply select on Yes or No based on the device circumstance.

• The Out of Service Date is controlled by another dropped down Calendar.
• Click on the calendar icon for a drop down, select your date or simply jut type it in.

• Date Placed into Service is the true actual date this device begins it’s calibrated service.
• It also is populated using a drop down calendar simply by clicking on the calendar icon and choosing the date or simply typing it in.

The Facility is the actual facility this device resides. The drop down indicates, Alice, Kilgore or Lafayette and more can be added if ever needed. Just click on the appropriate one and the line will populate.

Under Link to Certificate is where you will connect with a hyperlink. The white box indicates where the certificate is located which should be in the Records Library. Type your address in the address field and the Display this text is the title you want displayed in the Calibration Record List under Hyperlink. The next slide shows how to obtain your Hyperlink address.

Go to the Records Tracking Library and select the Folder named Calibrations and when it’s opened select on the device you scanned into the Records Library. When the record appears look at the top of screen in your browser and you will see the address of that document. Highlight it or type it into the bar in the hyperlink box that states “Insert Hyperlink”.

• To Attach Files (History Files) Click on the button where the paperclip shows and it says Click here to attach a file.
• A box with the name Attach File will open. Select on the Browse button which will take you to where ever you have the file stored. Click on the file and it will populate this box.
• Click on the “Attach” button and your fill will be attached to the Paper Clip.
• Do this for each file that will be attached.

Once all the selections have been populated click on “UPDATE”

When the system updates you will find your new device added to the bottom of the Calibration Records List.

• Highlight the record you want to edit.
• If you want to view or edit the record in case you made a mistake.

Click on the Item Tab on the upper left hand corner.
Click on the Edit Item. (Note: the same actions can be performed if simply just want to view by selecting on the View Item selection.

The Calibration Record will open up for the device you highlighted and you can begin with your edits.

Due Date has a red star in it on the right hand side. This indication means this box must be filled in for system to accept it.

If the Due date is not filled in as indicated with the red star in the box when you click on update you will receive this error message. This tells you that a box has not been filled in properly and needs to be populated before the system will accept it.
