QMS 5.3 Organizational roles, responsibilities & authority 1 ELEMENTS DIRECTLY IMPACTING THE COMPANY QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ARE HIGHLIGHTED QMS Job Title: Logistic Assistant Department/Group: Logistics Location: WES/HME Redruth, Cornwall Travel Required: None Reporting to: Logistics Manager Position Type: Full Time Job Description Role and Responsibilities Responsibilities (1) Responsible for the correct selection and issue of raw materials in accordance with work order instructions, maintaining material identification throughout the material issuing process (2) Responsible for preservation of raw materials within the stores area (3) Responsible for the correct handling, storage and traceability of incoming materials (4) Responsible for adjusting stock levels to maintain accurate stock accuracy, completing monthly stock check and assisting with comprehensive annual stock take (5) Responsible for all packaging and dispatch activities (6) Responsible for obtaining proof of delivery details (8) Responsible for actioning P&P orders (9) To receive Internal and External deliveries, perform booking in actions within specified timeframe (10) To raise and progress sub contract purchase orders (11) To operate sawing and cutting equipment for release of material (12) Responsible for the replenishment of packaging items (13) Responsible for the replenishment of janitorial items (14) Arranging the weekly exchange of laundry items (15) Liaise with cells regarding the emptying of swarf hoppers (16 To clean equipment and stores areas as required (17) To perform other related duties as assigned by Logistic Manager Reporting and Key Interactions Reporting to the Logistics Manager Qualifications and Education Requirements No minimum requirement Preferred Skills Minimum 3 years’ experience in stores and material handling environment.
