Job Title: Logistic Assistant

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• (1) Responsible for the correct selection and issue of raw materials in accordance with work order

instructions, maintaining material identification throughout the material issuing process

• (2) Responsible for preservation of raw materials within the stores area

• (3) Responsible for the correct handling, storage and traceability of incoming materials

• (4) Responsible for adjusting stock levels to maintain accurate stock accuracy, completing monthly

stock check and assisting with comprehensive annual stock take

• (5) Responsible for all packaging and dispatch activities

• (6) Responsible for obtaining proof of delivery details

• (8) Responsible for actioning P&P orders

• (9) To receive Internal and External deliveries, perform booking in actions within specified

timeframe

• (10) To raise and progress sub contract purchase orders

• (11) To operate sawing and cutting equipment for release of material

• (12) Responsible for the replenishment of packaging items

• (13) Responsible for the replenishment of janitorial items

• (14) Arranging the weekly exchange of laundry items

• (15) Liaise with cells regarding the emptying of swarf hoppers

• (16 To clean equipment and stores areas as required

• (17) To perform other related duties as assigned by Logistic Manager

Qualifications and Education Requirements

No minimum requirement

Preferred Skills

Minimum 3 years’ experience in stores and material handling environment.
