I am very pleased to say that the institute

obtained A- Grade from National Assessment

and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2017.The

award reflects the commitment and dedication of

stakeholders, teaching faculty and staff and

Modern methods of curriculum and teaching. I

congratulate Mrs. R. Lakshmi Tulasi, Academic

Dean and Professor of Computer Science and

Engineering for getting awarded PhD degree

from JNTUH. I wish the same commitment

from the entire faculty to do research in their

respective stream and bring laurels.

At the outset, I would like to share my views on

the yester semester as it was blended with

academic and non-academic achievements. I

congratulate the editorial board to bring out

newsletter for the period April 2017 to October

2017. It is great to find a considerable number of

winners and participants in co curricular and

extracurricular activities which certainly prove

that our staff and students are adequately

equipped and possess necessary skill-sets to

bring such laurels to the institution.

The major events of the year include QISFEST,

National Conference, SPARK-2K17, workshops

on Google Android, Data structures etc.

I congratulate Mrs. R. Lakshmi Tulasi,

Academic Dean and Professor of Computer

Science and Engineering for getting awarded

PhD degree from JNTUH. I appreciate the

faculty members for publishing a good number

of research papers in National and International

journals.

I am happy to note that the editorial board brings

out the newsletter of October 2017. I

congratulate the students who are winners in

sports and games. I firmly believe that it is

required to all the students to have active

participation in Games and sports along with

studies then they would be healthy physically

and mentally. In QISCET, the year

complemented with the blend of curricular and

co-curricular activities.

I appreciate the faculty members for publishing a

good number of research papers in National and

International journals.

his address, he said that there is an appreciable

number of admissions in QIS Institutions while

there is considerable recess in engineering

admissions in general. He suggested the students

to make a good use of the infrastructure,well-

stacked library and well equipped laboratories to

reach their goals in their professional career. He

also added that practical knowledge is more

important as well as theoretical one. He stated

the significance of mentoring, soft skills, live

projects, and industrial visits. He insisted on the

transformation of students from campus to

corporate. They have to blend with cultures,

communicate with colleagues with etiquette and

think innovatively.

Dr.K.Veeraswamy, Principal, QISCET, in his

address to the students, said "Be proud to be

honest, dedicated in your profession and an

eager beaver to achieve your opportune goals.

He also emphasized the importance of reading

Business or professional ethics are standards or

codes of conduct set by people in a specific

profession. A code of ethics is a part of the

expectations of those involved in many different

types of professions. By setting out expected

behaviors in the form of professional ethics,

professionals work together to try to uphold a

good reputation.

Evaluating Ethical Actions

Actions can be evaluated using a variety of tests

such as those suggested by Michael Davis, Carl

Skooglund, Patricia Harper, Jimmy Smith and

others.

Harm Test - Do the benefits outweigh the

harms, short term and long term?

Reversibility Test - Would I think this

was a good choice if I traded places?

Colleague Test - What would my

professional colleagues say?

Legality Test - Would my choice violate

a law or policy of my employer?

The Self-Respect Test - How will I feel

about myself after making this choice?

But all these tests promote decisions based on

how we “feel” about what we do. However, the

best decision is to “Do the right thing because it

is the right thing to do.”

Ethics are vital steps for excellence.

What is Important for Ethical Leaders?

Foster an environment of “Trust” among

individuals in the workplace…

Treat everyone as intrinsically

valuable…

Saina Nehwal

Saina Nehwal is undoubtedly the most promising sport star India has to offer to the world

today. The 19-year-old from Hyderabad is nothing short of a prodigy who has carved her niche

as the best Indian woman shuttle player India has seen till date.

Saina Nehwal was born on March 17, 1990, at Hissar, Haryana. Both her father, Dr. Harvir

Singh and mother Usha Rani were former State Badminton Champions in Haryana, so she got

the game of Badminton in her genes.

Currently ranked number 2 in the world by Badminton World Federation, Saina is the first

Indian girl to reach the singles quarterfinals at the Olympics and the first Indian to win the

World Junior Badminton Championships. Saina Nehwal made history on June 21, 2009,

becoming the first Indian to win a Super Series tournament, by clinching the Indonesia Open

with a stunning victory over higher-ranked Chinese Lin Wang in Jakarta.

Her coach Pullela Gopichand described Saina's feat as monumental. "If I am not wrong only

Prakash sir has won back-to-back international titles. The reason for her good show is her

superior fitness.”

As a person saina is very optimistic, she often criticizes her own game pointing out her own

errors made during a game. She is not at all snobbish and open to learning and herself admits

her lack of experience in winning some games. However, on court she is aggressive and gets

her opponent cracking quickly. India may have produced a galaxy of sports stars but saina is

indeed the most promising of all of them.
