During the late Warring States Period (476 BC - 221 BC), the state of Qin was in its full development.

His name was Shi Huangdi

Shi Huangdi was a very strict ruler, but he was an effective ruler as well

His uncle, Dorgon and mother ruled for him

He died in smallpox at 1662 at the age of 23

Religion

Qin believed in a strict philosophy called Legalism

It demanded tight control over populace by public institution

This philosophy made a militaristic society that suppressed before belief systems.

And they also standardized many things including measurements, axles, weight, written language, and money.

The Qin are sometimes called the Ch'in, which is probably where the name China originated.

Location The Great Wall of China is located in the northern part of

China. The wall goes through the provinces of Liaoning, Hebei, Tianjin, Beijing, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Ningxia, and Gansu. The wall does not go in a straight direction all the time, but in the deserts, it maintains a straight direction. The Great Wall was built over two thousand years ago by the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huangdi, during the time of the Qin Dynasty. It is about five thousand kilometers in length, four point five meters thick, and about twenty-five feet tall. It was built across mountains of north China, and winds north and northwest of Beijing, China's capital city. Contrary to some legends, The Great Wall of China cannot be seen from the moon.
