"e summer light has arrived and our New Zealand based Landscape Photography Workshops have come to an end. "e sun rising too early and se!ing la!er each day.

Queesntown is as beautiful as ever; the sunsets from our balcony with a glass of chardonnay are a highlight for this time of year. But we are about to escape for a couple of weeks to Japan to Photo-graph Autumn in Kyoto and Snow Monkeys in Nagono.

"is is a Photography Workshop destination that we encourage you to do again and again. "e landscape changes dramatically from year to year. "is year we le# Queenstown at 10am and our $rst stop was twenty minutes later on the Crown Range. A late season snow storm had covered the range and was still falling.

•Haast Beach is always a favourite spot and it delivered once again, as did Okarito Beach.

•Mike’s made another classic image at Lake Mapouika.

•Lake Wahapo sunrise with mist was the best we had seen for years.

•We organized a helicopter trip onto the Fox neve.

Dates for this workshop are set for April 1-4 and September 23-27 2011. Spots still available.

"e Fiordland Landscape Workshop is limited to eight students. We travel in our 4WD’s from Queenstown through the Mavora Lakes area to Te Anau. "e next day, Milford Sound and back. "e highlight of the trip being the nights stay on board the Sea$nn exploring Doub%ul Sound.

"e experience of being in this pristine wilderness is unforge!able. Having a boat all to ourselves to go where we want, when we want is fantastic. Next Year we have two nights on Board the ‘Sea$nn’.
