CLIMATE Doha is situated in the Arabian Peninsula within the Arabian Gulf. The sun shines almost every day of the year with few overcast days. Temperatures average over 30 degrees Celsius from May to September, reaching 40 degrees frequently. Rainfall is scarce, falling on isolated days mostly between October to March. During cool winter nights the temperature can drop below 10 degrees Celsius.

CLIMATE ANALYSIS
WIND Wind speed fluctuates throughout the year, with highest wind speeds in the winter and spring ranging from 5-30 km/h. Wind direction generally comes from the N and NE directions throughout the year. In August and September winds may come from the west. Light morning breezes in the summer may blow from almost any direction, with afternoons and evenings having stiffer, warmer breezes, generally from the east and north.
