Within the main production process I have used
my existing skills of photography through the use
of DSLR camera Nikon D71! "se of this
product has allo#ed me and my group to create
high $uality recording of our music video! %long
side #ith e$uipment such as tripods #eaccomplished to create various film shots
including hand held and still shots! &his variation
#as essential #ithin our production as it allo#ed
us to reinforce our progressive house genre
#hich is full of dynamic 'eats( #hile the still shots
allo#ed us to 'uild up significance of emotions(facial expressions and 'ody language! )esides(
from that I have used my camera #ithinthe ancillary task #here I have captured still images of locations including natural forms
of t#igs( trees and ma*e! I could comforta'ly manipulate the light exposure( depth of field
#ithin 'oth recording and taking photographs! %s further development as a group #e
have used +o,ro camera! &his #as something ne# for all of us( ho#ever #ith the use ofinstruction #e have accomplished to record effective shots #hich #e mainly 'ased
around the point of vie#! -ur aim #as to use the +o,ro camera to engage the
vie#ers #ith the perception of the actress! &his #orked really #ell creating su'tle
impression of fish eye angle emphasi*ing the setting along side #ith the movement
of the actress! &o improve any of our shots #e have carried a laptop #hich helped
us to identify any needed modifications allo#ing us to save any extra time for re.touching and re.filming as a result #e o'tained more time for editing!

%nother essential program #ithin our main production #as %do'e ,remier! Within this
program #e have explored and gained various skills! %s a director I #as #orking closely #ith
the editor! Within this process I have learnt ho# to cut videos and place them to 'eat! &his
allo#ed us to create continuous narrative! )esides( from that #e gained skills in practise
#hich allo#ed us to 'e more experimental! &o#ards the end of the video #e have
experimented #ith film overlay! Within this process #e have also discovered ho# to reverseand for#ard videos #ithin the same time frame! %nother editorial element involved
manipulating colour scheme throughout our video! %s #e #anted to keep our product
consistent at the same time reinforcing the 'eginning and end of our narrative #e separated it
using t#o different effects! -ne of them included vi'rant colour scheme full of rich colours
#hereas other #as much more dull( reinforcing the surreal feeling of a dream! /urthermore(
#ithin my ancillary task I have used InDesign! &his program #as essential for construction ofmy digipak and maga*ine advert! &he use of margins and grid lines significantly allo#ed me
to position elements of my design in accurate and precise place and order! Working along
side #ith ,hotoshop #as really essential and useful! Within this program I could effectively
do#nload needed fonts( manipulate images( develop my designs such as logo #hich needed
layering and changes! I have particularly chosen to use 0Dafont!com #e'site to do#nload
chosen fonts due to the variety they offered comparing to ,hotoshop or InDesign typographystyles! )esides( from that I could comforta'ly manipulate image composition 'y applying
various filters( manipulate the explore highlights( shado#s and colour range! %ll theseopportunities and options helped me to create successful designs #hich I then transformed and placed into
InDesign using grids and margins! %long side this process( I have also explored online editing soft#are
called Ipiccy! I found the use of this program much easier( allo#ing me to comforta'ly develop and
experiment #ith various modes! &his definitely helped me to save time #ithin editing processes( allo#ing meto direct the image manipulation process of #hat I #ant to o'tain #ithin final outcome!

evaluation! &hese include 3 Prezi, Slide Share, Scrid, E!aze ,S"#$dcl"#d a$d %l"&&er! %ll of these
different sources of presentation have helped me to make my $ualitative information more engaging andvisually appealing for the vie#ers!
&he 'log. pu'lishing service 4)logger5 has allo#ed me to visually present my %6 course#ork ourney #ithin
research( planning( construction and evaluation process! &he use of 'logger #as essential to keep my
ourney updated demonstrating my continues progression #ithin the construction of music video and
ancillary task! )esides( from that 'logger has allo#ed me to incorporate all seen a'ove #e'site links #hichmade the visual presentation even more appealing( allo#ing my #ork to 'e easily accessed through the use
of links and em'edded codes! &he mix and variation 'et#een the use of these technologies allo#ed me to

&hroughout the research( construction( planning and evaluation I have used presentation 'ased #ork! I found the use of
Slideshare( ,re*i and 8ma*e really useful #ithin these stages as I could confidently analyse my #ork along side #ith
other mediums such as photographs and videos! 9omplementing this #ork #ithin the presentations made my #ork more
engaging( allo#ing the readers to visualise the text! )esides( from that the animation.like effect of for#arding the slides
and 'ack made it easier to link my #ork! )esides( from that I have used various templates #hich involved various
designs( making the final outcomes much more visually attractive! I could confidently manipulate the text! &his includes
various fonts depending on the template( different si*e ( 'uilding up and decreasing significance of text! )esides( fromthat I effectively complemented my #ork #hich I have carried out on programs such as ,o#er,oint! I simply saved the
outcomes as photographs and then placed them in listed a'ove #e'sites! &his allo#ed my #ork to 'e more engaging
through various transformations o'tained simply through clicking! %nother engaging approach of presenting my #ork #as

research and planning I have used variety of :icrosoft programs!
&his included 8xcel( ,o#er,oint and :icrosoft Word! Within the
planning stages of my main production as a group #e have used
:icrosoft Word for ta'le 'ased #ork #hich follo#ed $ualitative
information including3 shooting schedules( rushes and scripts! It
#as important to keep the order of the information and accuracyto make it easier to read! %s a development of these tasks #e
have used 0Scri'd #e'site #hich allo#ed the vie#ers to easily
scroll do#n the pages( easily allo#ing them to move up and
do#n along the file! /urthermore( the use of 8xcel allo#ed us to
confidently create a 'udget total of our main production! &his
made the calculations much faster to sum up( creating clear ta'le

throughout my entire ourney! I have presented my #ork using
traditional presentations through slides( ho#ever Ive 'een also
experimental #ith the use of this method as I have saved the

Looking 'ack at my methods of feed'ack I have continuously used Survey:onkey
#e'site #hich allo#ed me to create professional online $uestionnaire! &he template and
option modes #ere easy to follo# allo#ing me to adapt needed $uestion structure
depending on expected responses! &he layout of the survey #as also easy to follo#!&he option of keeping the survey open to pu'lic #as also effective allo#ing me to #iden
my range of audience gathering responses from random individuals! I have developed
this approach even further through school email! I simply included the link of the survey
#ithin the email content! &his #as really helpful as it #iden my range of audience even
further! %nother useful element of this technology is the mechanical graph chart #hich
automatically creates summery every time your ans#ers changes! &his #as really usefulas it allo#ed me to save a lot of time( making final conclusions through calculations and
notes on given ans#ers! /inally( the opinion of automatic print allo#ed me to develop the
online source of responses through paper $uestionnaire! %fter constructing and gaining
feed'ack from 'oth sources I have used online #e'sites such as Slideshare( ,re*i or
8ma*e to compare gathered responses( analyse them and make final conclusions! I

In conclusion(
CONCLUSIONIn conclusion( throughout my research( construction( planning and evaluation stages I have used various
methods of technological convergence! &hese variation 'et#een traditional :icrosoft programs( digital
e$uipment( online animations and social media has helped me to develop my presentation skills( allo#ing
my 'log ourney to 'e more engaging and visually appealing! I found some of the technologies 'etter than
other( ho#ever I feel that each approach of technological presentation met their role! I particularly liked
Scri'd #e'site #hich helped me to adapt long files full of ta'les( in order to make them more appealing
and easier to vie# 'y continues scrolling! &his differed to #e'sites such as 8ma*e or ,re*i #here I could'e more visually creative 'y applying images( screenshots and videos! )esides( from that I have explored
ne# technologies throughout this year! &his included development around social #e'sites #hich helped
