How I presented my findings?(Research and planning)

When presenting the information that I found out about the music industry, I used Prezi to show my knowledge. I

have developed my understanding of the programme from last year but used other presentation software to vary my skills. Prezi has many different layouts and templates to choose from so no presentation looks the same. I found it useful when I tried to show my work in a more interesting way.

Padlet and Mindmeister were completely new to me

at first. When I started to play around with the text and placing them in spontaneous places, I started to creatively put together presentable work. I am proud to say I know how to use them and I’m pleased with how my work turned out on them.

The technology that was most useful in terms of preparation for our filming was Timetoast. In our group, it was the foundation tool for us to know when we needed to meet up and film. It was useful that the Timetoast that we made could be easily edited, as we had to make various alterations to our filming schedule.

How I presented my findings?(Filming)

When filming was taking place, I still had to show that the time we were doing so was productive and beneficial. I found that the most convenient way of showing how filming was going was through the use of images. I took various images of when we were filming and where we were filming, each time. To show the images that I took in the best way, I used Kizoa. This is a slideshow and film maker which I used to put my pictures together. I also added sound and transitions to make it more interesting.

Another way that we recorded how we were doing in terms of progress with our filming was getting feedback from target

audience. We recorded comments they made and uploaded them to YouTube as a way of constantly trying to make the products better.

Many different social media were used during the filming process. It was another useful way of showing to present how far our group had gotten. Social media such as twitter and Instagram were used.

How I presented my findings?(Construction)

One of the essential programmes that I used was Adobe Premiere Proc CC 2015. This is the software that used to edit the official music video and the cinema feedback on. It was the first time I used it as it was brand new.

Despite this, I found it alright to use and once I understood the foundations such as cutting and previewing my clips, I was then able to

add things such as strobe effects on the video. I added transitions and played around with other effects.

To edit my ancillary products, I used Adobe

Photoshop. I got to use different effects to make my Digipak and images vary. I added gradients to my images and I am particularly proud of the way I created the effect on the artists’ name. I duplicated the text and added a glow effect on one to add a ‘Haze’ effect which matched with my synergy.

I used Wix to create the website

homepage. I got to add all the conventional things such as

social links, gallery and tour dates by using this software. How I presented my findings?

(Evaluation)Camtasia is the software that I used to show my work in an innovative way. I used it to show my

work especially for the animated work I have e.g. my music video. The editing process is similar to Adobe Premiere Pro with the way

the video clips are put together and the transitions that are available are also similar.

To present one of my evaluation questions, I used a website called ISSUU.com. This has a very different presentation appearance as once the creation is finished, creates it to seem like a magazine which I thought was

an original way of presenting my answer.
