Qualifi cation of O-SEAL® Product Lines for Oxygen ServiceThere have been many changes recently in the world of industrial and medical oxygen. To remain a leader in the industry, CPV has redesigned the fl agship O-SEAL® product line to incorporate new materials of construction (MOC), cleaning processes, and physical features.
We are proud to announce that the O-SEAL® stop (globe) valves, needle valves, and stop-check valves have successfully completed Adiabatic Compression testing per ISO 10297, with a pressure rating of 4,500 psi. This demonstrates CPV’s commitment to developing safe, reliable, and effi cient products.
Continued Investment in ManufacturingContinuing to invest in machinery and equipment to further increase our manufacturing capabilities and effi ciencies, CPV Manufacturing has just commissioned a new CNC lathe.
The newest addition to our manufacturing center is a Star SR-38 type A lathe. With a 1.5-inch stock size, the lathe is planned to manufacture multiple components. Multiple jobs can also be set at one time, allowing for more work to be done in quick succession.

Introducing Tom PowellCPV’s New Planner and Scheduler
Introducing Tom Powell, the new Production Planner and Scheduler for CPV Manufacturing.
The position involves planning and managing production and assembly schedules, in order to meet our customers’ delivery requirements, fully utilize our production capacity, and manage inven-tory levels.
Tom joined us in early July, after his time with VWR International, where he was responsible for material purchasing and daily order management. We’re happy to have him join the team.
CPV’s Food DriveIn an effort to help our community, CPV has been collecting food for Kennett Area Community Service.
KACS is a volunteer organization based in Kennett Square, PA. Their goal is to serve those fi ghting against hunger and homelessness in their area, as well as in nearby communities. In addition to their food cupboard, they also provide emergency assistance for basic living expenses, and tend raised bed gardens to provide quality produce and herbs to food cupboard participants
CPV Manufacturing saw an opportunity to assist with KACS’s food cupboard and started an ongoing collection in April of 2017. Within the fi rst month of the drive, we were able to collect 138 pounds of food. So far, we have donated a total 368 pounds of food, and we look forward to collecting even more.

Introducing Paul B. MullenCPV’s New Vice President of Operations
Introducing Paul B.Mullen, the new Vice President of Operations at CPV Manufacturing.
In this role, Paul is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Assembly, Testing, Packaging, and Shipping to support CPV business and growth objectives.
Paul joined up in July, 2017. Prior to that, he led manufacturing and operations at a leading actuator manufacturer for over 38 years where his focus was on implementing continuous improvement and customer focused initiatives. We’re excited to have him on the team.

CPV Employee Runs for the CommunityCPV Manufacturing’s Miguel Diaz ran for a cause in the 2017 5K Kennett Run.
The Kennett Run is an annual foot race event that benefits the Kennett Square community. It was started in 1990 to bring the community together, raise money to promote the general well-being and civic betterment of area residents, organizations, and projects, and to showcase the town of Kennett Square. This year marks the 28th annual race, held on May 20th, 2017, which includes 10K, 5K, 1 mile, and kids runs.
Miguel finished the 5K race 339 out of 617 in 32 minutes.
We at CPV were proud to sponsor Miguel and look forward to his future accomplishments.

CPV Manufacturing’s Annual Company PicnicThe annual CPV Company Picnic went off without a hitch, due to our Fun Committee’s extensive planning. Along with the usual games of cornhole and ladder toss, we also had a Hippity Hop race and a water balloon toss competition. Take a look!
