PROCEDURE FOR RESETTING THE OUT OF SERVICE ALARM IN P*30 SERIES RELAYS Before configuration and starting the testing of P*30 relays first check the protection is enabled or not. If protection is not enabled then the out of service LED will be glowing along with the healthy LED. Follow the path to check the same: Parameters/Function Parameters/Global/Main: The Protection enabled menu should be Yes (ie, On). If the above menu is No (ie.off) then it should be made to Yes by the following procedure. Go to Operations/Control and testing/LOC menu as shown below

PROCEDURE FOR RESETTING THE OUT OF SERVICE ALARM IN P*30 SERIES RELAYS

Before configuration and starting the testing of P*30 relays first check the protection is enabled or not. If protection is not enabled then the out of service LED will be glowing along with the healthy LED. Follow the path to check the same:

Parameters/Function Parameters/Global/Main:

The Protection enabled menu should be Yes (ie, On). If the above menu is No (ie.off) then it should be made to Yes by the following procedure. Go to Operations/Control and testing/LOC menu as shown below

Normally by default it will be NO and when any setting changes are required to carry then only it shall be made as Yes by following the below steps.

After performing this then go to Parameters/Function Parameters/Global/Main and make it as On as mentioned below:

Press ‘Enter’ key and then the ‘Edit mode’ LED (RED) will glow and then by using up or down keys make it as ON and again press enter key to save it.

If Alarm LED is blinking continuously during testing follow the below procedure:

Go to Operations/Control and testing/Main / General reset make it execute and try to reset the relay.

If the relay is still not resetted then Go to Operations/Control and testing/MT_RC,OP_RC,FT_RC menus and change it to execute and reset the relay.
