A CHANGE IN ASSIGNMENT Hello Everyone!
In our previous Newsletter, we
communicated that we will not be able to return to Ecuador and that we have resigned from One Mission Society effective 30 September, 2020. We were unable to communicate our next steps in that Newsletter, but we would like to do so here.
During these months of quarantine, one thing has continued to be apparent. God wants us to pursue Him over everything else. During times of unrelenting uncertainty, God is our certain source of strength and hope. We are learning what it means to pursue Him as a way of life. As a result, God has given us a new vision for how we can still “come alongside” others. It is a ministry that we call…
PURSUE YOUR DREAMSTimes of transition remind us of the things that God has firmly established in our hearts. Joshua’s passion for coming alongside others and developing healthy leaders for the body of Christ has not wavered nor has his love for sharing the truth of God’s Word and the Gospel message. Allison has a great desire to see Joshua’s art change lives and she is still committed to using her gifts and talents in ministry as the Spirit leads. These things have not changed. What has changed is the environment in which God is placing us to use these gifts and talents.
We have the prophetic suspicion that, despite evidence to the contrary, our sphere of influence is about to multiply exponentially. Pursue Christian Living is a dream that has great potential. We want to take this opportunity to cast a vision for the future and invite you to help us pursue this dream.

A BRIDGE TO THE FUTURE
Pursue Christian Living is an international ministry that will focus on equipping believers, especially ministry leaders and missionaries, to pursue the Lord and their calling in a healthy way. We are still missionaries! Even though we will be based in North Carolina, we will serve the Lord globally. Here’s the mission statement of Pursue and a little bit about what we do.
CASTING A VISION FOR A NEW MINISTRY
Due to an unprecedented IRS backlog, it will take some time for us to receive non-profit status for this new ministry. While we are doing so, Crossroads Church has agreed to be our “Bridge” by receiving tax deductible donations on our behalf until Pursue Christian Living is up and running. 100% of the donations received by Crossroads from our ministry partners will go directly toward the ministry. There will be no administrative costs deducted from your giving. We are very grateful for the incredible encouragement from our Crossroads Church family who have believed in us and supported our calling from the very beginning.
What We Do We fulfill our mission through various creative means that meet people where they are in their walk with Christ and help them move forward in their journey with Him. These creative means include:
• Online and In-Person Preaching and Teaching
• Online and In-Person Workshops
• Virtual Self-Paced Learning
• Books and Other Written Works
• Visual Art and
• One-On-One and Small Group Spiritual Direction and Coaching
We specialize in working with the pastors, missionaries, church planters, and ministry pioneers who are shaping the future of the church.
