This m ap is to assist laboratories receivin g dom estic origin soil sam ples for chem ical/phy sical analy sis from areas where soil is reg ulated by USDA. Con tact USDA APHIS PPQ for all other m ovem en ts or purposes.

Purpose

Authorized Movem en tsSoil sam ples from Green an d Yellow areas m ay be m oved in to or throug h the W hite areas to a USDA approved facility un der a soil com pliance agreem en t. Movem en t of soil from location s within the Oran ge areas m ay require a Lim ited Perm it (PPQ 530) or Certificate (PPQ 540). Con tact USDA APHIS PPQ for further g uidance.

Most of CA, FL, and the border region of TX is suitablehabitat for exotic Fruit Flies. Coun ties crosshatched in red have experienced outbreak s in the past. In areas susceptible to Fruit Fly in festation , quaran tines can arise quick ly and chan ge often .
