Purpose: Use for rescheduling the regular IDT periods, RMP and ATP. Streamlines the process without
massive email trails.
Objective: 1. Department Heads and other key personnel will be able to successfully demonstrate the
process of entering/approving rescheduled drill requests, ATPs and RMPs in EDM. 2. Department Heads and other key personnel will be able to explain how to find training resources through NSIPS
1. Locate the NSIPS website and click
https://nsips.nmci.navy.mil
(if you have never logged into NSIPS you
may have to create an account NSIPS
Self-Service (New Users)
1a. You may have to unlock NSIPS
account if you are having issues
logging on with your CAC Card. Select
NSIPS Self-Service Unlock
Welcome to the Dashboard
2. Click on - (the
system may prompt you for email and
address updates- need to select a
primary)
The EDM Dashboard proves a status on submitted requests
and requests awaiting approval
3. To create a new request - Select
3a. Search for “Empl ID or Name” or select
self – UIC is 86912
Other information: The dates have to be in the future
4. Choose from the drop down menu for
“ ”. Notice drill totals to guide
your decision on the type of funding.
5. Enter all information completely
(as system will not allow you to
submit request with missing
information) and click to route
your request.
7. Click on the Pending quest, review the
information and click save, approve or
disapprove.
6. You will be receiving an email when the
EDM is entered by the member to prompt
you to log on to NSIPS and approve the
request. The information will appear in the
My EDM Dashboard
