We know it’s not enough for a food grade lubricant to meet the standards of regulators if it doesn’t meet your standards for performance.

All PURITY FG food grade lubricants are fully registered for use in and around food processing areas. Just as importantly, they also perform as well as or better than most conventional non-food grade lubricants.

Collectively, the PURITY FG family of products is formulated to provide:

Plus, our main line PURITY FG products are made from pharmaceutical grade white mineral oils that are virtually non-toxic and inherently biodegradable. In applications requiring wider operating temperatures, specially selected synthetic blending stocks, like Polyalphaolefins (PAOs), are used.

Our HT Purity Process removes virtually all performance hindering impurities from our white oils, providing a pure base from which to formulate our food grade lubricants. The absence of impurities means our carefully selected additive systems can provide optimal thermal and oxidative stability.

Revolutionary MICROL and MICROL MAX effectively inhibit the growth of performance-degrading microbes that can build up in lubricants as a result of cleaning procedures, acids and food by-products.

MICROL was the first antimicrobial preservative to be registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for use in food grade lubricants. MICROL protects the lubricant from deterioration, fouling and odours caused by micro-organisms ensuring that the lubricant continues to function as designed. With the strength to withstand water washout through jet spray, steam cleaning and most sterilizing chemicals, PURITY FG2 with MICROL MAX grease has the additive chemistry needed to provide long-term protection from wear, rust and corrosion. This innovative food grade grease is also available in aerosol format.
