'he PURELAB Prima process lin+s t:o puri(cationtechnologies9 reerse osmosis9 adsorption and alsoincorporates an optional R$ feed :ater !oost pump.

'he unit is designed to operate from a good Auality pota!le:ater supply9 at 1*BC and produces 9 1* or 2 liters per

hour of puri(ed reerse osmosis grade :ater :hich isdeliered to a treated :ater reseroir.

/ graphics screen displays the system status and proidescontrol !y means of three function !uttons.

'he :ater is processed and treated !y the PURELAB Primaunit as follo:s8

Pota!le :ater enters through a strainer and inletsolenoid ale at either regulated mains :aterpressure9 or is pumped !y means of a feed :aterpump #optional%9 and passes through the pre-treatment cartridge. 'he pre-treatment cartridge has

!een designed to protect the reerse osmosiscartridges from particulate7colloidal matter andecessie free chlorine9 :hich may !e present in theincoming feed:ater.

'he :ater then passes the sanitization port andthrough one9 t:o or three reerse osmosiscartridges9 set up in series9 :hich split the Do: intopermeate and concentrate streams. 'he permeate:ater is further puri(ed :hilst the :aste concentratestream is passed to drain.

'he permeate :ater is passed through a

;ater Auality sensor9 :hich measures

the conductiity of the :ater9 and a

'emperature sensor :hich proides

accurate temperature measurement.

from the unit is maintained at its highest leel9 theunit has an in-!uilt automated auto-rinse cycle. 'heauto-rinse cycle is performed eery time the process

is initiated and consists of a 1 minute high Do: rinseto drain across the reerse osmosis cartridges.
