about to suggest they stop for Lunch when, he slipped and

tumbled down a small cliff. “Bill.” Yelled Bob. “Are you

alright?” asked a Lady who just happened to be strolling by

happened to be a local paramedic called china. China

Opening Statement

Jellyfish are invertebrates, that means that the don’t

have any bones! Also they are cnidarians. As you all know,

jellyfish have tentacles with a bunch of stinging cells.

Guess what, the scientific name for the Antarctic jellyfish

is Desmonema glaciale!

Appearance

All jellyfish are in a shape of a ball or a dome. They have

transparent body’s and in the water they look invisable to

other animals.

All jellyfish’s tentacles trail along in the water while they

are moving.

Attempt commas for complex sentences, attempt

apostrophe for possession (body’s, jellyfish’s),

exclamation, apostrophe for contraction (don’t), capitals

for names.

Year 5:

Harry was eight years old and attended St Mathews

School. He was fairly smart and had an imaginative mind.

One day in term 2 week 8 in the year 2018 Harry had been

doing tests in class he was extremely tired and had dozed

off to sleep. When the school hours ended his teacher

woke him up.

“Harry, oh Harry you slept through class. It’s time to go

home now. Oh and don’t forget your homework,” said Mrs

Obswoth. Harry packed up his belongings and quietly

shuffled out of class. On his way home he felt a tingly

feeling in his hands, he shook them a few times and

carried on his way. He stopped there it was again “how

queer” he thought to himself.

When he got home he said to his mum, “Mum, something

queer happened today” he explained.

“Fall asleep again huh?” She replied.

“Yeah but” – he was interrupted by the constant ringing of

the phone. His mother answered it, ignoring her son.

“Oh well” he muttered to himself and walked into the

lounge to watch some t.v.

Later that night when Harry was eating his dinner he got

that tingly weird feeling in his hands. “Oh that’s weird” he

muttered to himself.

“What’s that darling” she asked.

“Don’t worry” he replied and they carried on eating.

When Harry was in bed at 1 or 2 in the morning he woke up

quickly. Was it just him or had something whispered in his

ear? He turned on the lamp and looked around the room,

nothing. He turned over his pillow and turned off the

lamp.

He was just dozing back to sleep when something brushed

against him. He silently reached out his arm and grabbed a

furry little creature. “Gotcha” he exclaimed and turned on

the light.

What he saw was one of the scariest furry rats he had

ever seen. “Hello” it said with a devilish grin.

“AAAAHHHH!!!!!” Harry screamed. Something tapped him

on the shoulder. He rolled over and examined the

creature. “AAAHHHH” he yawned.

“Come on Harry time to go to school, your late.”

“Oh what” he muttered. And all that he had seen was a

dream that was just too true. “Ooh, ooh” he said as he

began to doze back to sleep. “Here we go again…”

Grey Wolf!

Intro/classification

Wolves are the largest of 41 species in the dog family. Did you

know that your pet dog at home is distantly related to a

wolf!!! There are 3 types of wolves, Abysstrian Wolves, Red

Wolves and Grey Wolves (also known as timber wolves). This

report is about Grey Wolves.

Description

The average wolf is usally bigger and longer than the female

wolf. Northern wolves are usally larger than thos living in

warmer habitats. For example an Artic Wolf can weigh as much

a eight kgs, while Mexican Wolves generally wigh less than 35

kg. The colour and thickness of their coat varies depending on

their environment.

There are many different Grey wolves and they have adapted to

their environment and their climates. For example the Grey

Wolves in Greenland and Siberia live on tundra (tree-less

plains), when Grey Wolves in Canada and the USA live in forests.

Since wolves are not on the top of the food chain (We are) they

are hunted as well.

Nicky’s birthday

On the 6th of October 2010 I went to Nicky’s birthday

with Paula and Kate. We did lots of cool things such as

going to the movies and having a sleep over, it was so fun.

We first went to her dad’s house in Wainuiomata before

we did anything else. Then we headed to a fish and chips

shop to get some lunch to eat over at Nicky’s dad’s

house. So we ate and then started playing buzz in Nicky’s

room.

Next we went shopping at Woolworths to get some things

for dinner. We went with Nicky’s step mum and her name

is Maryanne it was so awesome because Nicky brought us

all 6 fart bombs each and a soft serve from McDonalds.

Later on that day we were bored so we headed towards

this creek and the water was freezing cold. Nicky was like

“why don’t we jump the creek”? and we were like I don’t

know. So then Nicky jumped and she said “that was

awesome!” So then we joined in and it was so fun. We

were playing around over there for like 3 or 4 hours.

We were all really tired so we headed back to the house

and started eating dinner. We had bbq with potatoe salad

and a green salad. We all wanted to watch a movie so went

with Nicky to go and rent a few DVD’s from the video

store. We took them back and we watched them all.

The next day we went to watch a movie called Vampire

Suck. It was such an awesome movie. I watched the movie

with Nicky, Paula, Kate and Sam.

Finally we dropped off Paula and Kate. While I was waiting

for my mum and dad to pick me up, I felt really happy

because Nicky had invited me to her birthday.
