WELCOMEWelcome to Pčelica Publishing Catalogue 2018
Pčelica Publishing House is one of the largest publishers of young children readers’ literature in Serbia. We have been producing books for more than 15 years. These publications include colouring books, drawing books, picture books, activity books, fiction and non-fiction books and encyclopedias. We are now presenting our publications at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair for the forth time. Since its beginnings, Pčelica Publishing House has been known for its educational publications, aimed at helping children to master the school curriculum. We have gradually expanded our product range with a variety of publications for children of all ages. Our publications are designed and reviewed by a range of experts in child development and in education. Our main goals are still the same – to provide an interesting way of supporting children’s education through a variety of topics, and to encourage children to love literature and develop good reading habits. Pčelica publications are known for being instructive, interactive, imaginative, fun to read, vividly illustrated.

S eries of short illustrated bibliographical novels about famous rulers, military commanders and warriors. The characters are not chosen by territorial or temporal pattern. Hence, the series include famous people from
different periods, cultures and parts of the world.
Alexander the Great was a king of Macedonians, who reached India with his army, having first conquered the mighty empire of Persia. His dream of a united kingdom of all peoples was shattered by his sudden death, after which his vast empire fell apart.
Attila was the ruler of the Huns, a barbaric tribe that occupied vast areas of land, from the Balkans in the west to China in the east. He daringly led his army into a campaign against Rome, the glorious and invincible capital of the Western Roman Empire.
