Public transport– the easy way to Moore Park Moore Park is well serviced by public transport. Regular bus services from key train stations take you to Moore Park. On event days the express buses from Central Station are the best way to get to Moore Park. Getting to an event Moore Park hosts some of the best entertainment facilities in the world. When visiting the Sydney Football Stadium, the Sydney Cricket Ground or the Hordern Pavilion why not come early and enjoy the tranquillity of Centennial Parklands, or the excitement of Fox Studios. Public transport is best We’ve used Sydney’s Olympic experience to streamline public transport for events. To get to an event, travel to Central Station. The Moore Park Link is a convenient train/bus ticket, available from most CityRail stations. From Central Station, catch an express bus from Chalmers St Express shuttle buses run every 5 minutes and will drop you at the centre of Moore Park. The buses don’t stop along the way and use special ‘bus only’ lanes to get you there quickly. Usual travel time is only 5 minutes. Check newspapers or call 131 500 to check whether the buses are running for your event, or log on to www.131500.com.au From Central Station, walk along Devonshire St to Moore Park A gentle stroll down historic Devonshire St, with its numerous cafes and shady trees, is the perfect start to a relaxing day. From Central Station to Moore Park it’s about 2 kms, or about 20 minutes. And getting home is just as easy. Express shuttle buses will return you to Central Station or Circular Quay and run continuously for 90 minutes after the event. Taxis Taxis drop off in Fox Studios or in Driver Ave outside your venue. There is a taxi rank in Fox Studios for the journey home. Coaches If you are coming in a group, a coach is a great way to travel. Coach parking is available close to all venues.
