Public transport is best

We’ve used Sydney’s Olympic experience tostreamline public transport for events.

To get to an event, travel to Central Station. TheMoore Park Link is a convenient train/bus ticket,available from most CityRail stations.

From Central Station, catch an express busfrom Chalmers StExpress shuttle buses run every 5 minutes and willdrop you at the centre of Moore Park. The busesdon’t stop along the way and use special ‘bus only’lanes to get you there quickly. Usual travel time isonly 5 minutes. From Central Station, walk alongDevonshire St to Moore ParkA gentle stroll down historic Devonshire St, withits numerous cafes and shady trees, is the perfectstart to a relaxing day. From Central Station toMoore Park it’s about 2 kms, or about 20 minutes.

And getting home is just as easy. Express shuttlebuses will return you to Central Station or CircularQuay and run continuously for 90 minutes afterthe event.

Taxis

Taxis drop off in Fox Studios or in Driver Aveoutside your venue. There is a taxi rank inFox Studios for the journey home.

Coaches

If you are coming in a group, a coach is a greatway to travel. Coach parking is available close to allvenues. For details call (02) 9339 6699.

Park and ride

Park your car and catch a shuttle bus toMoore Park. Check newspapers or call theevent promoter for details.

Accessible transportCentral Station, Town Hall, Wynyard andCircular Quay are all accessible train stations.

Accessible buses are included in the expressshuttle fleet from Central Station (maximumwait–20 minutes). Sydney Buses is increasingthe number of accessible buses and will includethem on all routes as they become available.
