Targeted at children up to 14 years of age, we invite you to experience the joy of reading, of seeing the printed word dramatised in memorable performances, and of meeting children’s authors from around the world. The Festival also includes a schools programme with meet-the-author sessions and workshops and a public programme with talks for parents and teachers, creative writing workshops and many more interesting events. The Festival is organised and managed by Hong Kong International Literary Festival Limited, a registered company limited by guarantee that is run as a not-for-profit organisation. We receive support from companies, grants, consulates, community partners and small businesses. Individual donations and Friends of the Festival membership fees are also significant sources of income.
