• PTT pledged 1 million rai or 400,000 acres in 416 forest plantation targets or 416 FPTs throughout the 48 provinces in Thailand since year 1994 – 1999 with total budget3 500 Million Baht3,500 Million Baht.
• Research from Faculty of forestry, Kasetsart University recorded 100 species of fauna and 4,000 species of flora

16 November 2002 marked the historic milestone for PTT. At the bestowal ceremony of one-million rai of forested area undertaken by PTT at FPT 29 and FPT 29/3, Ampur Pranburi, Prachuab Khirikhan Province, H.M. the King and HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn
graciously visited the site and viewed the exhibition

A revitalization from abandoned shrimp farm to the fully mangrove forest under reforestation project with local community. “Sirinath Rajini Mangrove Ecosystem Learning Center was established in year 2004. The center services covered a study walk trail, exhibition hall, etc.

Reinstatement and Forest Rehabilitation and Wildlife Preservation Pipeline R/W
Biodiversity Project :Effectiveness and Sustainability
• The Gas Pipeline transmission needs to pass through a 30-kilometer stretch of the forest area, along which 20 meters construction right of way (R/W) are used, amounting to 240 acres
• Vetiver grass combined with re-vegetation, agronomic erosion control methodology and construction engineering methodology is a key to erosion control success.
• Result of Vetiver Grass usage in this project has been continuously monitored and disseminated to the public since year y p y1996 for further application in both engineering and agricultural aspects through 154 PTT’s environmental network area with totally 21,473,750 vetiver grass saplings plantation.
• The vetiver development and promotion contest in according to the His Majesty the King initiative was designed to increase awareness on utilization of the vetiver since year 2006awareness on utilization of the vetiver since year 2006.

• Endangered species of marine organisms have been found in the Khanom – South Sea Islands area – Pink Dolphins (Sousa chinensis)
