Hello Fellow PrimeTimers,
Preparing to order ice cream to stock our ice cream wagon for the summer, Barb Kugel found that our supplier was no longer delivering in the north woods. Thankfully Mae & Gary Busko and Barb found other vendors and with some help and cooperation from St Germain Sentry Foods, they have our freezers stocked and ready for the summer. A big Thank-You to you three awesome PrimeTimers.
We are now into the full swing of summer, and with it begin many of our activities. On Memorial weekend our ice cream wagon opened for business on Sunday at the Snowmobile Hall of Fame "Classic Sled Roundup" and then again on Monday at the first Flea Market of the season. We are also serving refreshments at the Community Center for the Monday evening Bingo players. There is also our annual Car Show-Kids Carnival-Craft Fair-Brat Fry on July 21st. This year we will be selling food at the 3rd annual Dragon Boat Festival on August 18th at Torpy Park in Minocqua. Your help at these fund raisers is always needed and, of course, appreciated.
We have some fun things planned as well. We'll see some plays at Tommy O's Northern Stars Playhouse and play Bocci Ball on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays during the summer. The St Germain Independence Day celebration is on Sunday, July 1st. We will again have the Dragon Boat in the parade. If you have not watched the St Germain fireworks, you've missed an outstanding performance. Come - watch - buy some ice cream and a glow stick at our ice cream wagon - enjoy! Keep our activity list handy for these and other upcoming activities.
