• Change in the internal state in the learner as a result of instruction, experiences, study and/or practice.

• These internal changes are not readily discernable, therefore, learning must be inferred from behavior or performance.
• A change in the method of both practicing and performing skill.

• It involves such aspects as obtaining knowledge, improving skills in an activity, solving problems and making different adjustment to a new situation.

• Physical educators must be interested in helping the individuals with whom they work to realize their greatest potential.

Affective Learning
• Development of motor skill is the concern in teaching for psychomotor learning.
Psychomotor Learning
• MOTOR LEARNING is the study of acquisition of movement skills as a consequence of practice. Learning of a movement skill is inferred from performance.
Skill Learning
• To assess how well an individual learned the skill, the instructor would observe the performance of the skill.
Skill Learning
• MOTOR CONTROL is the study of neural mechanisms and processes by which movements are learned and controlled.
