Psychic Cheat Sheet Technique: Mediumship Reading (Live)

Live Mediumship Reading Overview Mediumship Readings can be performed in either live format or distance format. A live reading is a reading in which the readee (client), the reader (you) and Spirit are all present at the same time to receive and deliver messages from the Spirit World. Live mediumship readings can be performed in-person, over the telephone, via Skype or Facetime, or in any other format in where at least 3 parties (client, medium and Spirit) are connecting to receive and deliver information at the same time. As far as accuracy is concerned, it does not matter if a live reading takes place over the phone or in-person. Spirits are without physical body and with modern technology, energy can travel via words regardless of distance. A variety of Spirits can be present at a live reading, including but not limited to: deceased loved ones, spirit guides, angels, animal spirits, ascended masters and elementals. The Live Mediumship Reading Step 1. Prepare Yourself. In the hour or two before the reading, prepare yourself energetically, emotionally and physically. Call down a light channel, ground and clear, take care of any potential distractions, overview the reading with the Spirits present, etc.

Step 2. Initiate the Connection. Call your client or have them call you. If it is in person, welcome the client to your home or office. Then, before you dive right in, give an introduction speech with what to expect, when/if questions are allowed, etc. This will break the ice and set the tone. Step 3. Recenter Yourself. Let your client know when you are ready to begin. Take a few deep breaths and center yourself. Visualize yourself in the center of a light channel. Step 4. Call Forward a Spirit. This is when the reading actually begins. Identify who you have present with at least 4 points of information (gender, appearance, personality, relationship). If it is a deceased person, ask the client to verify they know this individual. Step 5. Deliver Messages. Once identification is complete, move on to messages. Spirits will communicate via images in your mind’s eye, words, sensations, etc. Share exactly as you receive. Do not filter. Step 6. Questions? In the last 10 minutes of your session, ask your client if they have any questions that weren’t answered. Ask the Spirits and share what you receive. Step 7. De-link from Spirit. When you are at the end of your connection, thank the Spirits who spoke. Then ask them to back up out of your energy field (de-link). Step 8. End the Connection. Thank your readee, provide suggestions for how to process, let them know the reading is over. Escort them out or hang up the call.

Special Considerations: In some cases, more than one Spirit will be present for a reading. If you are getting mixed information, ask everyone to back up out of your energy field and call forward individual Spirits one by one for identification and messages. As soon as one Spirit is done talking, call forward the next, so on and so forth until you get tired, or the time you allotted is up.
