THE JOB

The public health care in Västra Götaland offers positions for psychiatrists in the city of Gothenburg, Sweden. Sahlgrenska University Hospital is looking for psychiatrists in the Affective Psychiatry Department, in the Addiction Department, in the Forensic Psychiatric Department and in the Department of Psychosis. The doctor will work in a multidisciplinary team, close together with nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists and other staff, in both inpatient and outpatient work.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Specialist title. 2. Availability to complete the intensive language course. 3. Team spirit and ability to work with different patient categories, children, elderly etc. 4. Motivation to learn more and teach younger colleagues. 5. Flexibility.

SALARY & CONDITIONS

1. The starting salary with a B2 language level is 46,000 SEK with 50% language studies and 50% clinical introduction.

2. When the C1 level is reached there will be an increase of the salary to 56,000 SEK for a 3-month trial period.

3. Afterwards a permanent contract will be signed and the salary will be negotiated individually. 4. Full time employment 40 hours per week.
