Submission of Sec 1 Option Form
Eligible students will receive option forms to selectsecondary schools when they collect their results slips.Students are to discuss their secondary school choiceswith their parents as they complete the Secondary One(S1) Option Forms.
Submission of Sec 1 Option Form1) Submit electronically via Sec One Internet System (S1‐IS)
a) 24 to 30 Nov 2017b) Accessible 24 hours
• (from 11 am on 24 Nov until 3 pm on 30 Nov 2017)
2) Alternatively, submit the Sec 1 Option Form to BGPS General Office a) 24 Nov 2017, 11 am to 3pm; orb) 27 to 30 Nov 2017, 9 am to 3 pm excluding weekend

‐ Crest Secondary School and Spectra Secondary School or the Specialised Schools for Normal (Technical) students (SSNTs) offer an alternative educational pathway for students eligible for the Normal (Technical) course. The schools offer a customised whole‐school approach with a skills‐based and practice‐oriented curriculum that prepares students for subsequent studies in ITE.

‐ Students in the SSNTs will offer the same GCE Normal (Technical) levelEnglish Language, Mother Tongue Language and Mathematics as theirpeers from other secondary schools.
‐ Students will also be able to specialise in one of four ITE SkillsCertificate (ISC) courses at the upper secondary level, namelyHospitality Services, Retail Services, Facility Services and MechanicalServicing. These ISC courses are aligned with Nitec courses thatstudents can consider after graduation.

interested to study in the two schools should refer to the Letter ofInvitation and Application Form or the schools’ website (CSS:www.crestsec.edu.sg; SSS: www.spectra.edu.sg) for more detailsof the application process and timeline.

Crest Secondary School & Spectra Secondary School‐ Students are still required to indicate their choices for other
secondary schools under the S1 Posting Exercise. This wouldensure that those who are not admitted can be posted to anotherschool of their choice in a timely and seamless manner.
