• The students, better known as ‘delegates’ in Model UN, prepare draft resolutions, plot strategies, negotiate with supporters and adversaries, resolve conflicts, and navigate through the UN's rules of procedure; all in the interest of attaining International cooperation to resolve problems that affect almost every country in the World.

Foreign Policy Statement (Position Paper)

• Many conferences require that each delegation submit a position paper, a Foreign Policy Statement (FPS)detailing your country's policies on the topics being discussed in your committee. Writing a position paper will help you organize your ideas so that you can share your country's position with the rest of the committee. It requires extensive research from valid sources – preferably UN websites or Internationally accepted news websites (BBC etc).An FPS is required to be written in a crisp and concise manner.
