WORSHIP1 Cor. 14:24-25But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an ungifted man enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all; 25 the secrets of his heart are disclosed; and so he will fall on his face and worship God, declaring that God is certainly among you.

B. The Saved are Sent Out to Share Christ After Worship.

WORSHIP Isaiah 6:1,5, 8… I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple….

5…For my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts...”

8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Matthew 28:16-20 But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful.18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Acts 2:1,11,41When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting…

11…Cretans and Arabs—we hear them in our own tongues speaking of the mighty deeds of God.”

41…And with many other words he solemnly testified and kept on exhorting them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation!” 41 So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls.

BSF Notes

“Worship is the deepest desire of the human heart. It is the only right response when you realize who Jesus is & what He has done. He alone is worthy. To truly see Jesus is to stop demanding anything, to yield readily to Him & to give Him glory. The highest position you can attain in this life & in eternity is to bow before Jesus.”
