Finite element analysis (Biscuit Plate Dowel System)The Connolly 10mm Biscuit Plate, on average, were approximated to handle a 105.38(kN) force with a 0.65mm deflection before reaching failure point.

High quality preformed metal key joint for the control of shrinkage, cracking and differential movement in concrete slabs. Versatility of load transfer to meet all engineer designs.

Universal Dowel SleevesOur Universal Dowel Sleeves (UDS) are injection moulded for accurate and exacting tolerances. To ensure maximum straightness, rigidity and integrity. The product is injection moulded in medium density polyethylene, specially designed for products requiring a high degree of rigidity. With a long term UV stabilisation package, it meets the demands of one of the highest UV levels in the world.Versatility of load transfer to meet all engineer designs.

Biscuit Plate Dowel Systems The Connolly Biscuit Plate Dowel System is superior in withstanding greater load (force kN) with less deflection.

Dowel Cradles Fully welded wire assembly that holds dowels at correct spacing's and height. To ensure dowel alignment therefore eliminating the need to tie steel to site.

Universal Dowel SleevesConnolly Universal Dowel Sleeves (UDS) provide superior alignment qualities on conventional form boards as well providing the versatility of fixing to all Connolly Key Joint and Expansion Joint Profiles.Versatility of load transfer to meet all engineer designs.

Biscuit Plate Dowel System The Connolly Biscuit plate Dowel System is superior in withstanding greater load (force kN) with less deflection, than others currently “tested” on the market. Connolly Biscuit Plate Dowel Systems provide superior lateral movement capabilities than others currently on the market. In addition the Connolly 10mm Biscuit has a full 12mm compression zone so it can be also used correctly in an expansion joint application.

Connolly – Expansion Joints

Expansion Joint SystemsFull depth galvanised roll formed steel profile with 10mm polyethylene closed cell foam bonded, thereby providing an uninterrupted 10mm compression capabilities. Load transfer achieved by hot dipped galvanised friction cut steel (AS/NZS 4680:2006) dowel bars. Accurate dowel alignment and de-bonding achieved by our dowel sleeve systems (UDS).


Versatility of load transfer to meet all engineer designs include: • Square or round steel dowels• Variable dowel lengths available • Dowel spacing's available in increments of 150mm (e.g. Spacing's at 150, 300, 450, 600.)
