ACCREDITATIONS

• All accreditation requests must be made via the online system “eAccreditation” at http://eaccreditation.un.int

• Guidelines on how to submit requests online and a set of “Frequently Asked Questions” can be found on the Protocol website www.un.int/protocol

• Missions/offices will now have the option to submit photographs of delegations along with their online accreditation requests.

• Deadlines for submission of accreditation is Tuesday, 15 September 2015.

• All requests require at least 48 hours for processing.

• VIP passes are issued by Protocol and may be collected at the Protocol Office.

• VIP passes (without photo) will be issued to Heads of State/Government, Vice-Presidents, Crown Princes/Princesses and spouses.

• VIP passes (with photo) will be issued to Deputy Prime Ministers, Cabinet Ministers and spouses.

Note: Official Credentials to the Post 2015 Summit and the 70th Session of the General Assembly may be combined in one document. Official Credentials should be received by the Office of Legal Affairs one week before 15 September 2015.

Bilateral Booths will be in 4 locations:

• 2 on the 4th balcony

• 4 on the 3rd floor balcony

• The balance of up to 34 or more booths will be divided between the General Assembly Lobby (where the exhibits are located near the Visitors Entrance) and at the NLB 2nd floor (former lounge area)

FLAG VERIFICATION

The United Nations is in receipt of new Member State flags which will be displayed inside and outside the UN Secretariat premises prior to the General Assembly Debate.

In order to ensure that the flags are in accordance with each Member States Protocol, your representative is requested to proceed to Alphabet Room B at the end of this briefing at which time we will be able to verify the accuracy of your Member State flag.
