David Standen has been involved in the Industrial Blasting & Protective Coatings industry for well over 15 years.

Since 2000, he has been providing his clients with reliable solutions to their most complex Protective Coatings challenges. Today, he is recognized as a leader in the industry for his strength in traditional methods and for his creative, fresh approach to cutting-edge technologies and delivery systems.

From working on Ship loaders, Bridges and Wharfs in Townsville in the 90’s, to working on varied Commercial sites throughout Central Queensland, to a range of mine sites in the Bowen Basin running varied projects on Coal Handling Plants, Screen & Prep Plants, Drag Lines, Stackers and Reclaimers and overall maintenance projects, David has extensive experience with managing and directing large teams of men and women.

Through exceptional work ethic and product knowledge David has excelled in his industry with a much sought after reputation of a ‘man of safety and action’. David puts his work history down to embracing new skills & techniques, maintaining up to date training for himself and his team, incorporating new and advanced equipment and products for project effectiveness, and profitability whilst delivering on overall project safety.

After working with several industry giants David started his own small business. David’s success has been driven by a hands on approach, not only with his own business but also with his clients, which enables him to remain on the pulse with project matters and deliver precisely the clients desired outcome.
