• They fight for such this as human rights, land rights and medical support.

Survival International

• Survival international is a human rights organisation that was formed in 1969.

• It is the only organisation world wide that is working for tribal rights.

• The organisation is funded by almost entirely concerned members of the public and some foundations

Survival international

• This organisation has strong morals and ethics and are extremely determined in helping indigenous tribal people.

• They organisation will not take any money from national governments as they are the main violators.

• Almost 250,000 people have helped the organisation over 100 countries.

Yanomami-Hilfe e.V.

• The Yanomami-Hilfe e.V. is a non profit organisation aimed at helping Indigenous peoples of South America.

• This organisation is primarily concerned with medical support.

• Their latest project was launched in 2010 aimed at preparing another medical station in remote Yanomami territory

Hutukara

• In 2004 there was a foundation created by 11 Yanomami Indians called Hutukara.

• Hutukara was formed to by a former tribes man David Kopenawa.

• The main aim of this organisation is to deal with land rights and secure their medical care

FUNASA (National Health Foundation)

• FUNASA (National Health Foundation) is aiming at decentralizing health care in Yanomami territory, including the Brazilian and Venezuela frontier.

URIHI-Saude

• URIHI-Saude is a non profit organisation that aims to support institutional Yanomami Indians and promote the defense of their collective rights , especially to their health.

• Provides help to 50% of the Yanomami population
