An investment in pavers adds character and value to a home. However, the

erosion of joint sand and the appearance of weeds and ants can quickly create

an eyesore in an otherwise beautiful space.

Unlike conventional sand, Techniseal® Polymeric Sand

remains stable and stays in place.

It resists erosion caused by sweeping, wind, rain, and even pressure washing.

It also inhibits weed growth and resists insect infestation, leaving pavers clean

at all times.

After developing the first polymeric sand for paver joints in 1998, Techniseal®

has continued to develop increasingly efficient formulas, including the most

Techniseal® Polymeric Sand is a high-tech product that ensures the stability

and durability of paver joints. Applied dry, it hardens when activated with

water, and retains a degree of flexibility with moisture. Unlike mortar, it resists

EXCEPTIONAL STAIN AND WEATHERING PROTECTIONAll Techniseal® Protectors for pavers are both water- and oil-repellent. Since they are made with the very best resins, Techniseal® Protectors form either a durable film or a chemical bond that will prevent the penetration of water and oil. These water-repellent and oil-repellent properties are not found in low-cost sealants, which contain minimal amounts of cheap resins that break-up rapidly, allowing the penetration of contaminants that can permanently stain pavers.

TECHNISEAL® CERTIFIED APPLICATOR PROGRAM (CAP)

In order to achieve the best looking, longest-lasting results, we recommend that

the application of Techniseal® products be performed by a trained and experienced

contractor. Consequently, Techniseal® has developed the industry’s first and finest

training program: the Techniseal® Certified Applicator Program. This one-day

course puts emphasis on using the right “tools” for the job. Whether it be joint

stabilization, stain removal, surface preparation, Protector application or ultimately,

which best suits the pavers as well as the desired aesthetic. While the Techniseal

ProSeries is not outside the realm of the careful "Do-It-Yourselfer", there are certain

situations that a trained applicator will recognize and plan for much more efficiently.

Upon successful completion of the written exam, attendees receive a certificate

of completion and are placed on the Applicator Locator section of the Techniseal®

website.

As an emerging service industry, decorative hardscape care is seeing a growing
