proposal, you will find everything you
need to apply for membership.
Welcome to the Hacienda Golf Club membership
application process! We are excited that you are
considering our club, one of the best private golf clubs in
Southern California, by taking the next steps in becoming
a member. Hacienda, a cheerful and comfortable, private
enclave with its feet in two centuries, welcomes you to
join our family of members. As a club, we value superior
golf and camaraderie, honoring new and old traditions,
and making lifelong memories.
As we discussed, a limited number of Century Collection
memberships from our Early Years release are available
and we have reserved one for you. In this proposal, we
have enclosed a description of your Early Years
membership reservation, the application checklist, the
application, sponsor form, and member reference forms.
Once you've completed the membership application and
accompanying forms, your completed documents will be
presented to the Membership Committee, and an interview
will be scheduled.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact
us. In the next few days, we will reach out to you and check
on your application progress. We look forward to your

The Early Years Release of our Century Collection
membership package now makes it easier than
ever to enjoy full proprietary member status.
This is the highest level of membership, which
makes you a part owner of Hacienda Golf Club.
Fees● Initiation: $15,000 (regular $22,500)
● Dues: $760 per month
● Capital Fund: $100 per month
● Food and Beverage Minimum: $360 per quarter

How the Membership Application Process Works
Preview Round
The first step in becoming a golf member at Hacienda is playing a preview round. This is a round of golf that must be
completed with our Hacienda Golf Club Head Golf Professional or a designated staff member. After the completion of this
round, the attending staff member will complete a post-round acknowledgement and place it in your application file.
Application
After your preview round is completed, the next step is to fill out the membership application in its entirety. With this
application, you should include a copy of your passport or driver’s license.
Sponsor and Reference Forms
Included with your application is a member sponsor form and two types of reference forms. The application is in Appendix A
which will be sent to you in a separate email from “PDF Filler” requesting your “digital signature.” Please fill the application
out electronically and send it back to us. We will assign a Proprietary Member to you as your sponsor. You may request a
sponsor from an acquaintance who is currently a member of the club. The sponsor will assist you in accumulating a total of 4
Hacienda Golf Club Member References. You are also required to obtain 3 written personal references. These personal
references should be people that you have known no less than two consecutive years. It is preferred, but not required, that
the relationship spans more than a single facet of your life; i.e. not just work, but family, golf, church, etc. The sponsor and
reference forms will be in a Word Document attachment along with this proposal. Please print them out and distribute them
to your sponsor and references. Please send the completed forms to the Hacienda Golf Club General Manager or Membership
Director prior to your interview with the Membership Committee. Once these forms have been received along with the PDF
Filler application, your Membership Committee interview will be scheduled.
Interview with M embership Committee
Your interview will take place at the Membership Committee meeting on the third Wednesday of the upcoming month. You
and your Proprietary Member sponsor are required to attend. Your spouse, if applicable, is encouraged to attend. Please
bring your initiation fee check to the meeting. Suggested dress for the interview is business attire, as a photograph will
taken.
Approval as a Provisional M ember
Upon approval by the Membership Committee, you will be presented to the Board the following week as a Provisional Member.
Your membership will be granted provisional status for a period of 6 months. Once the Board has approved you as a

provisional member, the membership will be notified by posting your name on our member only website. Your assigned
sponsor will assist you through the first 6 month provisional period. During the provisional period, you have the ultimate
responsibility of making sure you fulfill all the requirements (see Provisional Member requirements below) needed to become
an approved Proprietary Member of the club.
M ember Orientation
Once you have been approved for provisional membership, a new member orientation will be scheduled. You must attend this
orientation prior to using the club.
Completing the Provisional M ember Requirements
As a newly approved provisional member, there are three things you must do to fulfill membership requirements:
1. Play 10 separate rounds of golf with 10 unique members.
2. Play in a minimum of 1 Men or Women Guest day with 1 or more of your own guests.
3. Must attend a social event or dine with 1 or more Board Members. This may be concurrent at 1 event.
All of these activities must be completed within a six month period.
Approval of M embership!
After completing the Provisional Member requirements, you will be submitted to the Board for approval of club membership.
After you have been approved, the Membership Committee will entertain you and your spouse for a welcome dinner.
Congratulations! After a very thorough process your application has been completed successfully. Your membership is
already underway, and now you can enjoy the club more fully knowing it’s your new home away from home.
We’re pleased you chose Hacienda, and look forward to many years together of camaraderie, traditions, competition, and
lifetime memories.
