Its permanent credo is to find new ways without betraying the essentials of

The modern TASSINARI & CHATEL mill is based in Panissieres in the Loire and
retains also a studio for the hand looms in the Croix Rousse, district of the
original Lyon silk weavers.
They have a large data base of more than 10.000 patterns, a design service
with all the latest computer software, a studio capable of analysing the most
complex fabrics as well as a large workshop marked out by its exceptional
diversity of machinery staffed by highly qualified staff.
A subtle juxtaposition of tradition and modernity, strictness and audacity,
innovation and respect assures the continuing success and international fame
of their mill.
With its combination of ancestral knowledge and latest technology, we are able
to respond efficiently to the demands of the top of the range interior fabrics
and are flexible and reactive enough to respond to the needs of any client even
for small quantities.
The mill is often required to supply prestigious hotels and can weave any of
their designs in Trevira CS or an inherently Fire Retardant Polyester in order to
conform to contract fire regulations.
We are exhibiting this year, under our brand QUENIN, new drawings and new
qualities especially developed for the PROPOSTE fair.

2015 TRENDS DIRECTIONS
botanicThe world of plants becomes a subject for experimentation and curiosity and inspires decoration with an organic and poetic design style. Contemporary interiors where nature’s beneficent presence brings serenity and well-being. Voluptuous autumnal tones inspired by heritage plants and tubers: parsnip, Jerusalem artichoke… combined with deep pinks, raspberry nuances and fern greens, set off with weathered blues, forest browns and plums.
made in craft
Relaxed, good-humoured atmospheres. A warm, spontaneous style full of colour and optimistic energy. Reclaimed habitats that adapt to changing times, where everything can be put to good use.
The sublimation of craft as an art in its own right, creating unusual, flexible, fun inte-riors where everyone can express their creativity! Based on primary colours, a tribute to Le Corbusier’s frugal, clever simplicity: blue, red, traffic yellow… complementing woolly beiges, cement greys, warm browns, pine greens and verdigris turquoise.
ludic chromatic
Joyful, dynamic ambiances with a Californian accent. Radically fanciful suggestions overflowing with energy. Highly colourful splashes guaranteed to lift your mood. A breeze of light-hearted freedom for a radiant, stimulating, sexy summer! The luminous plastic, chemical colours of comic books and jelly beans: swimming pool blue, fire-truck red, lawn tennis green, sunny yellow, sky blue – play with contrasting mixes, then throw in an insolent black to offset the more innocent combinations.
happynostalgia
Country cottages, shady terraces… A need for ambiances of bohemian charm with the flavours of the sun. Rediscovering everyday, familiar folklore. Taking your time, like in the old days. A summer in the south, joyfully adopting Provence and its ochre soils, the deep reds of the Basque coast. Southern Europe, but also the Caribbean… A retro mix of flea market and design to savour to a samba melody! A lively, sun-soaked, sparkling, pleasure-seeking range of colours: pimento red, tomato yellow, burnt orange, pepper green, ceramic blue and Mediterranean turquoise combine with a fig fresh from the tree and a neutral woven straw. Here red dominates.
