SITE JUSTIFICATION:

Quezon Avenue Site

- The site in along the Quezon Avenue and is a government owned lot. This area is within the accommodation of two roads (minor road –Agham Road and major road Quezon Avenue Road) which makes it highly accessible.

- The site is also near the MRT station, bus and jeepney terminals which makes the area highly accessible for all commuters.

- The proposed site is also near a school (Philippine High School) and vast residential area which is not directly connected but near the proposed site.

- The site is also a street away from commercial district (Trinoma, SM North and Golf Course- North Avenue) which is good for job opportunities after the treatment.

- It is also near the Philippine Children’s Hospital which is highly convenient in case of emergencies.

- It is also near an outpost of PNP, making it safer. And also along the same street as the main building of Fire Protection Building.

Lipa, Batangas Site

- The site is near a branch of De La Salle, which is responsible for establishing two of Bahay Pag-asa located in Dasmarinas and in Bacolod so this proposed Halfway House may be established by them which is a non-government organization.

- The proposed site is near colleges, elementary schools and high schools.- The proposed site is close to a commercial area making enough job opportunities for the future

alumni of the program.- The Lipa Police Department is also within the vicinity, so probable children in conflict with the

law could easily be admitted to the proposed Halfway House.- Bus terminals are also within the vicinity of the site for transportation but are not directly

accessible from the site to prevent the possibility of admitted children from easily escaping.- The site is near hospitals for when emergencies happen.- Churches and other religious structures are within the vicinity for possible extra spiritual

activities outside the facility.
