About the host Established since 1977, IEEEThailand Section was set up bygathering the signatures from IEEEmembers in Thailand and forwardedto IEEE Head office for approval. IEEEapproved the petition in November1977, followed by the formation ofIEEE Computer Society ThailandChapter.
Thailand Section By-laws wereprepared by the Executive Committeeand approved by the Region 10Director in 1980.
In 2009, IEEE Thailand Sectioncelebrated its 125 years andorganized the conference“Engineering the Future”. TheSection aims to promote the numberof members and it is significantlyincreasing.

In summary, Thailand is the center of Asian countries for advancing the Autonomous Decentralized System (ADS) in research and several plans of developing ADS. Moreover, there are many researchers and engineers being interested in ADS. Now Bangkok has been well advancing rapidly and it has the important roles of the global activities on technology and business.

Chulalongkorn University is celebrate the 100th-year anniversary in 2017, and not only the university but also the government strongly expect to communicate with the international community, ISADS. Our team has experiences in organizing major IEEE conferences such as IEEE R10 Meet 2013, TENCON 2014 and ISGT Asia 2015. The program chair, Thavatchai Tayjasanant, is also an IEEE Thailand Section secretary who has connections with various organizations in Thailand.
