Redmill Resourcing,

26/08/16Dear David,

Thank-you for the invitation to tender for contract on your new business venture for RedmillResourcing. It was certainly interesting to discuss your marketing requirements for thebusiness and how you envision developing its marketing further in various stages. In myproposals, I try to ensure that I address each of your needs with a solution. From ourconversation, I have identified the following requirements:

• Provide a clear insight to visitors of the different services for both Candidates andClients which are offered through crisp, high resolution images and graphics.

• Develop a 'responsive' wide-screen layout which adapts to the viewers' screen which iscompatible with the latest browsers and mobile devices.

• Develop the new website onto a content management system (CMS) which will allowyou to update, expand and manage the website at ease including jobs posting andapplications. For added usability, we also build a Drag n' Drop editor into your websitemaking it even easier to update yourself.

• Ensure thorough compatibility across various different web browsers and mobiledevices to ensure the best viewing experience for visitors.

• A correctly coded and fully search engine optimised website to allow you to generatemore traffic and increase your presence and authority online. We shall do this throughusing the latest coding standards, HTML5 and CSS3.

• Timely turnaround and reasonable budget.

Please let me know if these issues are in alignment with your concerns and if there isanything else which hasn't been addressed sufficiently.

Kind regards,

Our ProcessLet's start off by looking at the steps we'll be taking to get your project from start to finish:

1. Design Concept/Planning - after meeting to discuss your project requirements, we arenow able to gauge and accurate idea of the style, format which you wish to haveimplemented.

2. Architecture - just like a building, a website needs a solid blueprint. Together we'lldetermine the best way to organise your website and sketch out a rough outline.

3. Content - with a solid blueprint in place it will be your job to collect, organise, edit, anddeliver to us content for each page of the website. If your website is a re-design we shall takethe content from your existing website.

4. Design - after collating your content, we're then able to create a mock up concept inPhotoshop of how we envision your website to look and feel. We then send this over to youto review and supply any changes you may require.

5. Development - with all the necessary architecture, content, and design elements in handwe'll create the first working version of your website.

6. Revision - after passing over a working link to your website, we ask that you thoroughlycheck over the website for any areas you may not be happy with and then compile an emailwith any revision requests.

7. Launch - getting your website "go live" ready will inevitably require several rounds ofrevisions and polish. Once the website is ready, we'll go through the final launch checklist.

8. Warranty - your site is now live! If there are any areas of your website which you havespotted are not working, we offer a 30 day warranty to correct these.

Our Proposal

Initial RequirementsIn order to begin your project, we require proof-read content and high resolution imagerywhich you'd like to use on your website. If you haven't got any images or content, we cansource and supply high-resolution imagery from professional libraries and offer aprofessional content writing service. We request that all content is supplied upfront to avoidhindering the design and build process, but understand you may have additional contentwhich you would like to incorporate into the new website later on. We will help you organiseand load this content into the content management system when ready.

Design & BuildWe will have a further discussion with you to brainstormsome ideas and suggestions as to how the websiteshould look and function. As a business we understandyou're looking to generate leads and ultimately salesfrom the website. There are a number of factors I wouldrecommend we incorporate into the design as part ofthe build.

When generating traffic to a website, this is only the firststage of the strategy. The next task is to work onconverting visitors into active leads. There are severalaspects of the design which we need to consider beforeundertaking any paid-for advertising such as Pay Per Click or SEO. An example for this ismaking best use of the area "above the fold" which is jargon for the top half of the page youfirst see when you view the website.

As a general rule of thumb, when a visitor is on your website, although they may beinterested in your service, you should aim to have at least 2/3 indicators as to what youwould like them to do, ensuring they navigate the site correctly and make an enquiry.

We shall build your website on an open-source platform called Wordpress, which we havecustomised to enable some additional features including a drag and drop editor, allowing youto easily update your website, add new content and edit different areas through your panel.

Page 5: Proposal - s3.amazonaws.com€¦ · we'll create the first working version of your website. 6.Revision -after passing over a working link to your website, we ask that you thoroughly

Once you've approved the design, we'll start developing the website onto the ContentManagement System using HTML5, CSS3, PHP and a hint of Javascript. We shall use the content supplied to create the website's structure. Once complete, we thenbegin initial testing to ensure the website is working responsively across various devices andbrowsers.

Search Engine OptimisationIn addition to your website design, groundwork also needs to be applied to the new websiteto help build a solid foundation for any off-page SEO work which will take place. We completethe following:

• Latest HTML5 and CSS3 coding

• 301 Redirects from old pages to new

• Optimise page titles

• Meta descriptions

• Image optimisation

• Google XML

• Robots.txt

There are many hosting solutions offering hosting for next tonothing and the harder you look, the cheaper you'll find it.Many o er "unlimited" storage, "unlimited bandwidth" andmuch more, however there are a number of key issues withthese solutions - they used shared hardware and softwareacross thousands of other websites. This means that at peak times, your website may begin

running extremely slowly as other websites on the network are also receiving lots of tra c.Have an issue with the website itself? Chances are you'll need to sit the phone on hold for 20minutes, only to be told that they only deal with the hosting aspect, not the website itself.

At Create Designs, our approach is different - we understand that a website needs to beonline consistently and most importantly, that it loads quickly to ensure that visitors don't getfrustrated and leave.
