Justification for increase in Academic fees by Shikshan Shulka

Samittee from the Academic Year 2011 - 2012. Our Institute was sanctioned with academic fees @ Rs. 17530/- for the academic year 2006 - 2007 and 2007-2008, @ Rs. 19060/- for the year 2008-09,@ 20330/- for the year 2009-2010, ,@ 22420/- for the year 2010-2011 by the Shikshan Shulka Samittee. Our Institute was with annual intake of 180 students up to the year 2006-07, and the same has been increased to 270 from the year 2007-08. On account of less strength of students, the academic recurring expenses were less up to 2006-07. However on approval of increase in intake from 2007- 08, we have increased the infrastructure as well as expenses with respect to the following parameters have been increased at large in the academic year 2008-09 , 2009-10& 2010-2011. Salary - Salary shown in the balance sheet of March-2007 was about 39.34, March-2008 was @ Rs. 65.09 Lakhs and Salary increase in the academic year 2008-09 up to Rs. 86.72 Lacs , 2009-

10 upto 112.12,2010-2011 upto 118.96 which may please be observed from the Salary sheet, because of recruitment of experienced staff on higher scale and additional staff as per increased intake. [PTO]

• Labs & Other Expenses -

Intake of our three branches i. e Civil, Computer Technology & Industrial Electronics has been increased from 30 To 60 each from the academic year 2007-08, where we have increased all amenities including machineries, equipments & furniture etc. for a batch of 60 students. All these major expenses are done in academic year 2007-2008 & 2008-09.& in the academic year 2009-2010,2010-2011. Hence our expenses for the year 2007-08, 2008-09 & expenses for 2009-10,2010-2011 on the basis of increased student’s strength i.e. full intake capacity for 3 yrs. But during Academic Year 2009-2010&2010-2011 only 222, 223 student’s are admitted respectively against intake capacity of 270 due to that total controlling strength(no) of student’ remain 769& 729 instead of total intake of 810. So we request you to consider controlling strength for computation of fees for AY 2011-12. Enclosed project expenses chart as per (Annexure no. 6 ), reveals that there will be additional expenses in coming 3 years including proposed salary expenses of VIth pay , (which needs to
