    BOOTH ALLOCATION & SEMINAR TIMETABLE The organizer will decide the booth allocation and seminar timetable based on the application date, booth size, and category of the booth / seminar. The booth allocation and seminar timetable will be announced at the exhibitor briefing.

    Promotional activities to attract visitors

    Ads will be placed mainly in Nikkei BP and Nikkei Group media that has a large readership consisting of high-level executives and people working in the areas of retail & distribution, services, ICT, and construction. In 2016, we placed ads in the Nikkei, and Nikkei Marketing Journal for newspapers, and 22 media including Nikkei Business, Nikkei Top Leader, Nikkei Information Strategy for magazines.

    ● Newspaper and magazine advertisement

    Ads will be placed in various Nikkei BP online media particularly those that run articles on inbound tourism, including Nikkei Business Online, Inbound Biz, nikkeiBPnet, and Nikkei Architecture (web). Online media of other companies involved in inbound tourism will be used as well.

    ● Online advertising

    E-mail advertisements targeting the visitors of Nikkei BP’s past events and subscribers of Nikkei BP magazines and websites will be delivered in a large-scale and highly calibrated manner. E-DM and e-mail magazines of other companies that are involved in inbound tourism will be used as well. In 2016, a total of 15.5 million e-mail messages have been sent.

    Leveraging the customer database of Nikkei BP, complimentary tickets will be sent out to important and promising targets. The number of tickets exhibitors receive will reflect their booth size.     The number of foreign visitors to Japan was 23.79 million on the October 2017 (estimated by JNTO), and it has been expected surely exceeding 24 million of the previous year. Experience-based services have been drawing much attention, and the movement to develop new type of services has become active. On the other hand, in the retail industry, many news reports that inbound related sales of department stores exceeds the one of previous year. By strengthening marketing activities and improving convenience of services for foreign visitors, it becomes easier to increase sales and to attract customers to the region.
