Output and registration The Pro C751 series features a new laser beam technology, called ‘VCSEL’ (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) that delivers best-in-class output and registra- tion of 4,800dpi for precise reproduction. Superior registration accuracy is achieved through its ability to monitor paper expansion and contraction during warming and cooling. A further key benefit of VCSEL is the ability to print fine lines with high clarity and sharpness. Equipped with the new EFI Fiery E41A print server, all three models support differing workflow environments for smooth integration into existing operations. Furthermore, the devices have also been designed to connect seamlessly with Ricoh’s range of solutions. Super toned toner The Pro C751 series is also unique in the cut-sheet production printing market with its new liquid cooling technology, which optimises developer temperature for improved productivity. Ricoh’s PxP chemical toner produces consistent offset-like quality, exceptionally accurate colours and repeatable outputs. It also includes active toner density control, enabling stable colour density across longer runs. “This is the same toner that we have found to be highly successful in the Pro C901, with customers finding it useful in achieving the quality and accuracy to match their offset results,” Gully explained. “With this new series they can now achieve this, even when only printing small runs.” Media that packs a punch The paper library will improve efficiency and ease of use with its extensive list of customised profiles for an array of stock types. This means that with a touch of a button, the Pro C751 series knows to calibrate the device specifically for the chosen stock.
