WP2 –Handbook structureGeneral safety and security (S&S) Licenses and consents• TV and Copyright licensingGeneric:If music record playing equipment is available at the guest house, the owner must have an agreement with the copyright agencies, responsible for public broadcast and retransmission of music records. Usually there are 2 organisations in European countries – one is representing authors of music, another – performing artists. A separate contract is signed with each organisation.Criteria:□ If you provide for playing music records or retransmission of music in public space, you have a contract or agreement with relevant organisations in your country.Best practice:European rural tourism organisation „Eurogites” made a summary of requirements and fees for music playback in several countries in Europe. See the table attached. Country specific - Latvia: In Latvia there are 2 binding organisations. Each requires a separate contract: - Copyright and Communication Consulting Agency/Latvian Authors Association (AKKA/LAA) http://www.akka-laa.lv/ ; - Association of Latvian Performing Artists and Producers http://www.laipa.org/
WP3 – Web based Safety and Security training tool
Time: 03.2013 – 01.06.2014Web based tool: S&S self-check, inspection manual,
virtual training module.
Web tool design programming, solutions for web tool display, integration in Eurogites and national websites. Translations of web forms.
WP4 - Testing
Time: 10.2013 – 01.06.2014
• Each partner have to organize testing with rural tourism providers and VET students. Report and feedback summary sent to lead partner.
WP5 – Project management
Time: 10.2012 – 09.2014• Next project meeting in UK 24.- 27.11.2013• Final eligible spending date for the Interim report is
30.09.2013, partners have to send all documents and report excel sheet by 15.10.2013. 70% of the first 40% EC transfer should be spent.
WP6 – Dissemination and Valorization
