DESCRIPTION

300 word idea The first project was a lot of fun for me. I really enjoyed how we were supposed to incorporate different time periods, but other than that there was not much criteria for the project. This let me get creative and experiment with my thoughts and ideas, as well as the photo shop program itself. I have learned a lot more since then in the program, as well as in art as a whole, so I want to give this project another shot. I was thinking about combining all of the batman films and shows somehow and making one large movie poster for it. It would go all the way back to the cartoons and the show with Adam West and take bits and pieces from the costumes and such, and then go to the more current films and use some of the cars and weapons, etc. This is one of my favorite film series of all time, and definitely one of the more test-of-time surviving out there. The actors have changed, the costumes have changed, and the people involved in their production have changed, but the fans have always stayed the same. This is what I want to appease. I want this to be a movie poster that a lot of Batman fans would really appreciate and find some joy in looking at. Additionally, I think this would be an especially fun project for me because I enjoy utalizing cartoon and symbol art more than I like using real thinks such as animals, people, trees, landscapes, and other things of that nature. It just feels to me as If I can be more creative. Though I will be using many more modern photos of Batman and such, I really would like to make the poster look like one of the more older movie posters from the 30’s and 40’s.

• These three artists are a few who’s ideas who inspired a few of mine when brainstorming for this project. They all have very vibrant colors and cartoony aspects in their pictures. This is exactly the kind of vibe I want in my poster. I really want to take aspects from all of them because they all have something different to offer to it.

• I still do not have an exact idea of the layout, but I do have some pictures I am using either directly in my photoshopping, or in my inspiration and ideas
