● Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), an infectious disease, has spread globally and resulted in pandemic [1]● The rate of deaths per number of diagnosed cases is on average 3.4%, ranging from 0.2% in those less than 20 to
approximately 15% in those over 80 years old [2][3][4]● At the moment there is no vaccine or specific antiviral treatment for COVID-19● Infection prevention includes frequent hand washing, social distancing, and not touching one's face [5]● Management involves treatment of symptoms, supportive care, isolation, and experimental measures [6]● Each country applies different measures [7], the most extreme being complete quarantine and cities lockdowns
Key points:
● Restrictions are commonly applied universally, except for elderly or some specific location● Consequences of the illness are highly individual● Single person protection from infection is relatively simple

Motivation
Find people at riskHaving system which evaluates personal medical history and categorises a person by risk level ~ consequences of COVID-19 illness [no symptoms | mild progress | hospitalization required | death] could be used for:
● Complete population evaluation● Prioritise medical treatment of infected or potentially infected (smart quarantine) patients at risk● Minimizing potential of getting illness for people at risk● Some of those might be at the “front line” such as medical staff, police force, etc. and can be reassigned to
avoid direct contact with the disease● “Smartly” release some of the applied restrictions for others where the risk of death or required hospitalization
is low

Proposed solution
4
Phase 3est. 2 months
Develop machine learning model and search for hidden knowledge
Data can be enriched with patients documentation. Could potentially explain ambiguous reason of COVID patient death.
Phase 1est. 2 weeks
Rule based expert system developed with doctors Based on person medical history DGRs and MKN-10 lists
Easy to develop and quick to run while having high added value
Phase 2est. 1 month
Gather patients disease progression and improve rule-based system with real-word evidence information
Requires to gather data
Expert system - Phase 1
5
● Export anonymized DGR and MKN-10 records for system development
● Creates access to personal data for solution running inside company
● Develop expert system● Create reporting services for individual or
batch evaluation● Working only with anonymized data
● Expert knowledge● Risk assessment for DGR and MKN-10
groups● Consultations and results validation
