• Construction of an Indore Stadium at Kanjirakkadu at Perumbavoor Village having an extend of 1.78 acres of land owned by the Municipality

•Indoor Stadium is proposed to construct in the land owned by the municipality having an extend of 1.78 acres

•Proposed to develop the project with private participation

Market Feasibility Perumbavoor is the Taluk Head Quarter of Kunnathunadu

and is well connected to sorrowding panchayath and municipalities within in the taluk .

The town is expected to provide facilities need to promote sports among the population of Kunnathunadu.

Facilities Available Our project involves the following components:-

Facility for basket ball; volley ball, teak wondo,

badminton(shuttle), hand ball, fencing, Judo etc.

Wooden floor for playing all games

Players room

Gallery with seating arrangements

Land: Indoor Stadium is proposed to construct in the land owned by the municipality having an extend of 1.78 acres comprised in Block No.20 Sy.No.223/24-25 of Perumbavoor village

Utilities/Facilities : Since the land proposed to construct the Indoor Stadium is originally purchased for solid waste management, no improvements has been made hence the land has to be developed, proper roads to the Stadium to be constructed, and all the utilities required for an Indoor Stadium should be provide

CONCLUSION The nearest Indore Stadium is Rajeev Gandhi Indoor Stadium

which is about 40Kms from

Perumbavoor. If the proposed Indoor Stadium is construct if will Benefit the entire population of Kunnathunadu Taluk especially the youth to undergo training for longer sessions and willfacilitate conduct of competitions throughout the year irrespective of the weather conditions.

•The Theatre will be constructed above the roof top of vegetable market and will have area of 2330 M2 as per the Kerala Municipality Building Rules and Kerala Cinema regulatory acts and rules .

Market Feasibility

The town attracts a huge influx of floating population and a

study conducted reveal the Perumbavoor has the largest

number of migrant workers in Kerala

This floating population converges to the city for availing of

job opportunities, education and health facilities, trade and

commerce and other higher order amenities/facilities.

This trends points the need of providing major facilities like

super speciality hospitals, recreational canters etc.
