Method used for calculation in Excel Sheet

Analyses like growth trends, Coefficient of variation, Instability Index and Net barter terms of trade will be carried out to fulfil the objectives.

By knowing growth and instability of particular exported product to particular destination, it has a great applicability for policy decision making

Growth is calculated by using LOGEST function in excel which derives cumulative annual growth rate (CAGR).

Instability is calculated by using coefficient of variation.CV (coefficient of variation) = (standard deviation / mean)*100 CV explains the deviation from the mean value of the exported product. For the calculation of the growth and instability the exports are taken in

terms of value which is in Rs (crores)
